Hi.
I wanted to comment that the antispam function does not work. If I mark mails like trash or move them to the "junk" folder by hand, the sender is not registered as commercial propaganda and I still get messages from them.
It has never worked nor in the web interface nor in the desktop client (Kmail, in my case). In order for Kmail to discard my emails as spam, I have to use Kmail's own anti-spam filter, in fact in the Kmail configurator it doesn't even seem like Disroot offers a usable anti-spam filter for desktop mail clients -other mail providers, yes-.
I don't know if this is a bug, something that's not working as it should, or that just Disroot doesn't offer spam filtering. :-|
A greeting.
Message translated automatically, if something makes no sense or misunderstands, please do not hesitate to ask.
We do offer spam filtering and are working improving it. It should be better now, so I'm closing this.
Forgive me for reopening this issue, but the filter still doesn't work on the site webmail.disroot.org (spammer addresses I have marked as spam several times keep getting to my inbox) and does not appear in my mail customers' anti-spam tool (Kmail and Tunderbird). Do we have to do something special, some configuration, to make it work?
@Trivium thanks for update. I am working on better tweaking of the system but it's hard. The more aggrssive I make it the more complains about false positive spam I get. When I turn it more mild, people complain about increase of spam. Please forward some of the emails top ham.report@disroot.org. I will be reviewing things more when I tweak the spam system coming days.
Done. Thanks.
