I am trying to edit (an existing contact) and add (an)other contact(s) manually to the contact section of my Disroot webmail server in the 'Accounts' (CardDAV) section via the Firefox browser on my computer.
Editing or adding contacts fails and I get the below message on my screen:
PUT /remote.php/dav/addressbooks/users/mvdstelt/z-server-generated--system/LDAP:mvdstelt.vcf HTTP request was not successful (404 Not Found): Sabre\DAV\Exception\NotFound Node with name 'LDAP:mvdstelt.vcf' could not be found
FYI: The email server is syncing with the k-9 email Android App. The DAVx5 Android App is also syncing with the email server.
Is this an error somewhere or do I need to change a setting somewhere? Thanks.
Thanks for reporting. I will check and try to reproduce after the weekend. Can you access and edit from within nextcloud: https://cloud.disroot.org ?
I've just tested without error to add, modify and remove contacts from webmail (the ones that are in synced with nextcloud)
Hi meaz,
Thanks for checking. Are the contacts your tried, add, edit, delete
contacts under the 'Accounts' folder? Please see also the error in green
in left lower corner of the screenshot.
The 'Accounts', 'Contacts', and 'recently Added' are CardDAV folders,
which are specially made to share contact details from their server, as
email Apps on phones don't sync contact details from the email server so separate App are required to sync the contact details.
Hi muppeth,
Thanks for the reply. The contacts in nextcloud is endlessly in the
loading mode. Please screenshot.

No, they are in Contacts.
But the problem is most likely on Nextcloud. We updated it yesterday, so is your issue still there (loading mode)?
Hi meaz,
I can create (now) new contact under contacts. Under 'Accounts' it still
doesn't work, but not sure I I should be able to add contact there as
well, even though the system suggest I can in webmail.disroot.org.
At least adding contacts works. That's good thanks.
Though the cloud.disroot.org is again running endlessly:
@muppeth any idea?
