When trying to reply to this bug thread:

I get:

“Network error SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!doctype "... is not valid JSON”

This is what I tried to post:

It would be interesting to see how it is going with nixnet, which has these forgejo addresses:

git.nixnet.services
qt5vr747phiq55ubqip4hflmpygzl374mum2zbyqdxg6sqbngmzlqhid.onion

Not sure if it working for them because it is hard to get registered. Also hard to reach anyone on their support channels. But nixnet advertises both clearnet and onion use without giving any functionality warnings.

Well, I waited a while and tried again, and it eventually accepted my comment. I guess I’ll leave this bug report open as the underlying problem, whatever it is, likely remains.
