I consider the entire process of requesting additional storage, paying for it and then renewing the subscription to be quite non-intuitive and not simple. I am sure you made it as simple as you could (at the time) so I will not suggest that you change it. Instead I would like to see the process documented somewhere in your website.

When I decided to request the extra space, I felt lost and confused, and did not submit the form.

I returned to the request page later, submitted the form and wondered "now what!?". Only some time afterwards I saw the email and finally completed the process. However, I felt a bit unsure for a while.

For the renewal, I thought I had to do it all again from the start. Then I saw the date of my request and decided to wait a few days so that my new request would start close to the one-year anniversary of the request -- the date my request would end. However, I was too busy to do it at the time, and then I had other things going on on my life.

So, if I had gone ahead with my plan, I would have two subscriptions for extra data and it would have been a mess!

Clearly I failed to understand how things are supposed to work, and maybe there are more people who think the same. In my defense, I saw no explanation or description of the entire process. You don't even mention that it is supposed to be a subscription that we are expected to renew! (There is nothing wrong with it, but please explain that so that we have the correct frame of mind and don't mess up like I did).

So, in summary, would you mind documenting the entire process to request extra space, renew it after a year, expand on it, etc...? It would help so much in the process of repaying you for the helpful services you provide to us!

So perhaps we should review this process a bit (even though this might be easier with keycloak anyway)

Yeah the entire process needs to be changed. I hope we can start reviving the work on the webshop next month so that we can take care of this process as soon as possible. As I mention on the last meeting I wanted to give myself one last time to test a solution that will be very beneficial for us long term. But if I fail in incorporating it into the idea of a webshop and one stop merch/storage/donation idea, I will drop it and we will just try to finalize exactly what we started working on last year. If the experiment works however, we will have to change the concept slightly. I plan to work on this during week 15.
