Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
To improve translations and communication, would be nice to find a maintainers for each language. People that are involved enough that could be pinged when changes to the website are made. Those maintainers could then also take care of coordination within their language if there is more contributors.
Languages we have at the moment:
French: taken care by @meaz, but would need some help to check if all we pages are still up-to-date.
Italian: taken care by @l3o
German: avg_joe
Spanish: taken care by @fede
Russian
we could have them listed on the website on the about page, under the core team, as "Translation team".
I suggest making a comment or edit the first comment with a checkbox list for each translation and then check the boxes as we get maintianers. Since the issue and project is public, potential volunteers can come to the issue and see if their language is in need of maintaining.
Good idea @PresGas I've done it.
Meant to also suggest adding this link to the volunteer page.
What about something as simple as this? @l3o what do you think?
@meaz If it suits you, I'm happy to be mentioned;) and the form seems ok to me
PR created then!
Can I help with russian translation for disroot?
@CatsPnewed check https://howto.disroot.org/en/contribute/procedure

P.S. Как бы я мог написать тебе в лс? Все контакты в тг без лички...

@lori
How can I translate to portuguese (Brazil) pt_BR?
I'm reopening this issue for a limited period of time to see what other opinions there are on the matter.
We've already discussed this, translations require a certain level of commitment, especially in the case of the website because it doesn't make sense (besides looking bad) to have translations that are half way done or unmaintained.
For the time being, until we come up with a better method, I'm kind of inclined not to accept translations of the site unless they cover it 100%.
I can do it to Russian in free time (rare, but still) how to start tho? thanks!
Hello, French native, I taught the language for many years in the US. I'd like to help you out but all my computers get highjacked. Even though I am not a journalist, I get traited as same. Could anyone give me some advices?
