Can you support IPv6 on Disroot's web, mail and XMPP servers?
There is a shortage of IPv4 addresses in Africa and Asia.

I think its something to work on after all new servers are racked up in datacenter.

I would leave it for now until at least november milestone.

I think this is something we could open the new year with. This will require multiple issues to be created to take care of all the details and services. But I think we shouldnt create them now to avoid clutter. Let's keep this issue as placeholder and once we get to it, we can then create bunch of tasks for a milestone.

I have a request. Please give this issue a higher priority. Please support IPv6 as soon as possible.

There is a shortage of IPv4 addresses in Asia and Africa. In my country, Japan, ISPs that share a single global IPv4 address with multiple users are widespread due to DS-Lite (RFC 6333) and MAP-E (RFC 7597). Japan is still blessed. In Africa, the situation is much more serious: ISPs that do not provide IPv4 addresses but IPv6-only ISPs are emerging. This is not about cheap VPS. This is an ISP for home use. For Africans, an ISP that supports IPv4 is a luxury item.

You are stubbornly delaying IPv6 support. This is negligence. You live in a blessed country where IPv4 is easily accessible.
You are discriminating against African people by not supporting IPv6.
I strongly protest. Please stop contributing to the North-South problem. You have had more than enough time by now.

Please support IPv6 immediately and without delay.

@AlvinEscamilla with all the respect, I would like to remind you this project is volountary based and as much as we would like to work on disroot 24/7, we need to put food on the table and so need to prioritize what to spend the time we have on disroot. Claiming we are subborn or delaying something on purpose is just not fair. Demanding things in this way is also not the best approach.

As stated above, we are going to work on it in the beginning of next year. There has been some things we needed to do to prepare as well as there is few things that still need to be in place before we can enable ipv6 support.
So as much as I understand the issue, things just do take time. I admit it's been on hold for really long but this will be taken as priority starting from January.
Hope you understand.

@muppeth Could you list the needed steps to achieve that so that I can see how I can help?
