That's not user friendly, message should be visible immediately after page has opened without any additional user action required.

Not a big problem, I did not find a link on disroot.org how to reproduce that problem by clicking on a dead link. So more an Enhancement request than a Bug Report!

To reproduce the problem you can do:

Visit English Homepage https://disroot.org/en
replace tailing "en" by "pt" →
» Empty page opens, Error message at the bottom not visible 😥
