Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
We should consider possible abuse, though this is less of an issue then email. There are other servers providing easier ways to create accounts, we have had not much reports from other fellow xmpp admins about the abuse from our side.
I would suggest looking into it in August or September milestone, as we should move everything (except for nextcloud of course) to new server setup (including IP addresses).
Add a sentence to /tor about it being worked on.
xmpp over Tor is widely in use, and most places just turn off anonymous signup over Tor - if you have anonymous signup
when that is done, we should also consider https://modules.prosody.im/mod_onions.html
Ping,
That looks really nice and is currently maintained.
Allowing Prosody to federate to hidden XMPP servers would be very interesting and good for privacy.
