Hi, i wanted to enquire that does disroot have any plans to host Mobilizon ? This federated service is quite popular in France amongst activists and individuals alike. Since disroot also warmly welcomes activists on their platform, therefore I felt the need to ask about it. People or groups can organise events around in Netherlands, if offered by you.
@carmonto I am not sure if Mobilizon would be the right tool, since it's not very stable. It's better that you join disroot and communicate securly via PGP or their upcoming Lacre and organize any events with others using that. Riseup users prefer email for example. But if you still want to test drive it, head over to:
https://mobilizon.nl/
They are based in Netherlands and prefer users creating events based over there. Just my two cents.
Regards.
@carmonto @zeeshan Thanks for your request. We have been looking into it when it was first released but we simply had not resources both server and manpower to provide it. Perhaps something to revisit. I will add tag to check back with the team on upcoming meeting.
@zeeshan Thanks for the feedback. Mobilizon has now become stable with version 4.0. The developers have ironed out the bugs. I also tried your given link but after communicating with the admins there, they don't allow activists. Therefore i am here. Also i prefer Mobilizon over email due the ease of creating groups and interacting with others. Also i'm a disroot user ;)
@muppeth I really appreciate it. Mobilizon has gained a lot of momentum in France and i hope that disroot will follow suit :)
