Receiving external funding / grants could potentially secure salaries for staff for longer periods as well as possibly contract people to introduce features to services we use and upstream them.

In this task we will try to resolve the following:

Investigate funding possibilities.
Create a list of associations/foundations/companies that would do this thing.
Contact them.
Fill in granting forms

Once the work becomes more concrete we should break out to specific issues and tasks.

Since this is rather vague and we need to start from the beginning, I propose we keep this as is and try to build up the tasks depending on how we go about it.
