[2024 Financial goals] - Merchandise #787

We could produce shirts/bags/badges etc.

  • Decide on pre-order campaign
    • Decide on date
    • Design prints
    • Decide on marchandise types (shirts, cups, bags)
    • Estimate production costs
    • Decide price
    • Setup plan for production of marchandise
    • Setup payment/shipping system
  • Announce pre-oder campaign via all sources
  • Launch pre-order campaign
  • Produce the merchandise.
  • Pack marchandise
  • Send items
  • Decide on following future campaigns
    - [ ] If this works out we could launch similar pre-order campaigns on regular basis (twice this year at first, for example in June and December (like for the "actions for donations" milestones).

Wouldn't be possible for a non-profit organization like ours to have some sort of "DiStore" where people could donate for a shirt, stickers or printed cups?

@fede I think we could easily have a normal shop selling those. I would not do it for donation because you sell items that cost to produce so should have a price tag. Perhaps we could run it as disroot but if the administration is getting to complex because of the foundation etc. we could resurect (something I wish to do anyway once the house is finished and workshop ready) aptgetshirt.

I think we also need to add:

  • Decide price

"Estimate production costs" will help do that, but we nee to decide how much we want to get from each sold item.
