I started with trying the adjustments on the 'about' page to make it easy, as it has limited amount of information.

I haven't made a huge progress yet but here are some of the changes I started with:

I implemented the mono-color low res image as we discussed before, but also made it take less space on the page so when the page is opened there is a banner and part of the text below visible at once.
A slight change of palette. Changing the bright green highlight color to a calmer, cleaner color.
Remove images from the content and instead focus on two equal columns of text and better typographic layout.
Sharper more pronounced angles between section.

The goal is to get to a lighter, cleaner and more focused look.

Yeah like it too.
Like the concept already but it would be good to also see a proposed services page. Specially features and clients. Currently this part of the page is not looking good. Some services implement it different then others (like email is different then cryptpad). Client section is also not as good and clear imo so perhaps this should also get some attiention.

i like the higher density. because i feel our current style requires a lot of scrolling.

@antilopa it's hard for me estimate, i think header image width is reduced but not sure. atm the header pictures (as much as i love em) are like fullscreen. so to access infos i kinda have some sort of muscle memory to get pass em.
