Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Recently I've been unable to sync any files to Nextcloud or vice versa, and I just get the error:
An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ')) AND (
sh

IS NULL)' at line 1for every file
By what client (desktop / mobile) is the mentioned error reported?
Also, when you say recently are you referring to hours / days / weeks?
Few days I think. And the Nextcloud client on Linux but WebDAV doesn't work either.
I am now facing the same issues (using Nextcloud desktop client v.3.13.0 installed through APT).
However, 26 hours ago I was able to upload something.
Others are also complaining: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/unable-to-upload-file-to-root-dir-atfer-update-to-29-0-3/196306
And according to https://github.com/nextcloud/server/issues/46196 an workaround would be to disable the Circles/Teams app. - ping @muppeth.
A fix is also pending.
so it's an upstream bug good to know
If anyone else is following this discussion, about 4 hours ago @muppeth disabled Circles app until the upstream fix is merged and released.
Sorry for not updating this Issue. I totally missed it being reported so I only put info on status page. Thanks again @floss4good for catching this one.
The upstream fix was merged and back-ported only to stable28 and stable29; therefore I'm afraid they are not going to also release a fix for version 27 - because Nextcloud Hub 6 is now EOL (version 27.1.11 being the final community maintenance release) and the Circles/Teams app is currently being released only bundled within Nextcloud server (as they confirmed on git).
So you will have to either manually patch the Circles app or update to Nextcloud 28.0.8 when it will be released.
Yes. I am planning to do upgrade to 29 this tuesday
ok then I add this in the July milestone
Added it to changelog too.
BTW, isn't it safer to first update from 27 to 28?
Updater updates in stages. First all minor version, then major etc. So It will now update to 28, we can then do quick test and then jump over to 29. Depending on the process and possible issues along the way I might stop at 28 and do 29 in couple of days. But if the update does ok and all tested functions seem fine, we could just jump over
Did update to 28 this evening but looks like the fix is added to milestone 28.0.8 while current version is 28.0.7. Doesn't look like the fix has been pushed to 29 neither as its added to 29.0.4. Unless I'm missing something (its late), we need to wait a bit more for the fix. If that's the case, once pushed, we will jump to nextcloud 29 and try our best to be up to date with stuff.
Updated nextcloud to the latest version 29.0.4 and teams app (formerly circles) is back without the bug.
