Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
For a month already, I'm getting nginx request timeout everywhere and always when trying to connect to: http://kgtz2pmmov5jfvn3z4mqryffjnnw6krzrgxxoyaqhqckjrr4pckyhsqd.onion/
I can log in with Disroot creds without problem.
But I see that message before logging in:
How do you try to connect?
I'm going to the disroot.org/en/tor and tapping sign in. Or tapping "Git" and then "Tor". On every device of mine and in every browser, I'm getting the same issue -- not being able to connect. That is the only .onion that doesn't work for me.
@divergency, have you tried using a local/dedicated git.disroot.org account or via OAuth2 (e.g. using Codeberg / GitLab credentials)?
Using my git.disroot.org account I can confirm it does work.
The issue is the URL which is set to git.disroot.org and not kgtz2pmmov5jfvn3z4mqryffjnnw6krzrgxxoyaqhqckjrr4pckyhsqd.onion causing the proble. I need to check whether its possible to add multiple URLs in the config or not (or check with forgejo folks on how to deal with onion addresses and whether its even possible). I will pull it into this milestone to not forget but can't promise i will have time to complete this.
One more question, @divergency: if you still have this issue, could you please check what Security Level configuration your browser has (i.e. Standard / Safer / Safest)?
Most browsers I use don't have security levels. But even with mostly nothing blocked, I still get that error
Currently instead of the timeout I'm getting ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
What browsers are you using?! Tor Browser should definitely have a 'Security Level' setting.
About 2 hours ago I was chatting with someone who was not able to access Disroot's git onion site (while on my side it was working) and after the site started to load on their side they were encountering timeout errors when trying to sign in. In the end, after adjusting Security Level to 'Safer' (which I think is the standard one for Tor Browser) they were able to sign in.
Apparently it works right now, after all this time
