From filemail I have been used to be able to upload a complete path structure with sub folders and sub sub folders (...) also in Web Browser Interface by simply drag and drop the head path form WIN files Explorer to the "Drop to here" area in the Browser interface.

Lufi also pretends to be able to do so, but that won't work. A zero bytes file will be uploaded and be available for download.

May be there should be a hint that for such path structures user has to create a .zip form it and then to upload (drag & drop) the zip to Lufi?

At HowTo and also at https://upload.disroot.org/ ?

I've just opened a ticket on lufi's repo about this: https://framagit.org/fiat-tux/hat-softwares/lufi/-/issues/265

Yup, I think that's the most proper approach.
