    Thanks to @moiety@queer.garden, we now have a more consistent version of Tootify! The new stylesheet uses CSS-fu to automatically restyle "Publish" buttons the moment they show up, instead of the somewhat ad-hoc older method of watching the page URL to guess that a new "Publish" button has been created.

    Because it uses CSS to hide styles, screen-readers will end up reading the button as "Publish toot!" instead of just "Toot!". This is not necessarily a bad thing, but feedback from people who actually use screen-readers and/or other accessibility tools is welcome.

    This is the first version of Tootify, which brings the "Toot!" button back to all Mastodon instances 🎉

    Known issues:

    • If you have a small window (that has gone into mobile view) and then resize it to full screen, you may see briefly see the new "Publish!" button encroaching your interface. However, clicking on a different post or reloading the page will Tootify it again.
