+As some of you might have noticed, Microsoft (owner of Hotmail, Outlook, live.com, Office360, etc.) is rejecting all emails originating from Disroot.org servers. Once reported to us, we immediately contacted support at Outlook as it was not the first time we have been targeted by MS (last year for no reason, all emails from Disroot were marked as spam) .

+After waiting for a reply for a few days, making sure we are compliant with 'their policies' and exchanging few pointless emails with the Microsoft's support staff, we have gotten this final reply:

+> As previously stated, your IP (178.21.23.139) do not qualify for mitigation at this time. I do apologize, but I am unable to provide any details about this situation since we do not have the liberty to discuss the nature of the block.
+> At this point, I would suggest that you review and comply with Outlook.com's technical standards. This information can be found at https://postmaster.live.com/pm/postmaster.aspx.
+>  We regret that we are unable to provide any additional information or assistance at this time.
+>  Best regards"

+This means as much as *"You are blocked, we won't tell you why, and all you can do is wait for us to decide otherwise and allow your emails to arrive"*. Good ol' Microsoft hostility.

+We decided we won't just sit and wait for Goliath to have mercy. If they do not listen to us, perhaps they will listen to their own users. This is why as of writting this post, **we are blocking all emails from outlook.com, live.com, yahoo.com with reject reason pointing to this blog post**. Perhaps if their users start asking questions, Microsoft will finally review the reasons they have blocked us for - and maybe be so kind to explain it to us - or simply unblock. So **contact MS!** Searching the web for possible reasons we have learned that it is very common to be banned by MS without any reason for extended periods of time.

+**We are sorry** if your emails are not reaching your contacts at Yahoo or Outlook, and we would like to send our appologies to users on the other side that can't reach Disrooters, but we feel like this is the only way we can generate some preasure on Microsoft to cooperate with us and fix the issue instead of blindly reject all traffic. **Please repost and share so we can together get MS's attention and undo this block.**

+Como algunxs de ustedes habrán notado, **Microsoft** (propietario de Hotmail, Outlook, live.com, Office360, etc) está rechazando todos los correos provenientes de los servidores de Disroot.org. Una vez que nos informaron del problema, nos contactamos inmediatamente con el soporte en Outlook ya que no es la primera vez que somos blanco de MS (el año pasado sin ninguna razón, todos los correos desde Disroot eran marcados como SPAM) .

+Después de esperar durante varios días por alguna respuesta, asegurarnos que cumplíamos con 'sus políticas', e intercambiar algunos inútiles emails con el staff del soporte de Microsoft, obtuvimos la siguiente contestación:

+Esto es como decir: *Están bloqueados, no les diremos por qué, y todo lo que pueden hacer es esperar a que decidamos lo contrario y permitir que lleguen sus correos electrónicos*. La vieja y conocida hostilidad de Microsoft.

+Decidimos que no nos vamos a sentar a esperar que Goliat tenga piedad. Si no nos escuchan, tal vez escuchen a sus propios usuarios y usuarias. Por eso, al tiempo que escribimos esta entrada, **estamos bloqueando todos los emails de outlook.com, live.com, yahoo.com, con el motivo del rechazo apuntando a este post**. Quizás si sus usuarias y usuarios empiezan a hacer preguntas, Microsoft finalmente revise las razones por las que nos han bloqueado, sea tan amable de informarnos al respecto o simplemente nos desbloqueen. Así que, **¡contacten a MS!**. Buscando en la web por posibles razones, hemos aprendido que los bloqueos de MS, sin razón alguna durante largos periodos de tiempo, son muy comunes.

+**Lo sentimos** si sus correos electrónicos no llegan a sus contactos en Yahoo! o Outlook, y nos gustaría disculparnos con las personas del otro lado que no pueden comunicarse con las y los Disrooters, pero creemos que esta es la única manera de generar algún tipo de presión sobre Microsoft para que coopere con nosotros y arregle el problema en lugar de rechazar ciegamente todo el tráfico. **Por favor, compartan esta publicación así podemos entre todos y todas llamar la atención de MS y revertir este bloqueo.**
