Cool free software web browsers
There are multiple options to browse the web using programs built by free-software communities. See below some of them and "Happy Browsing"!
Parabola Iceweasel
Icweasel is based on Firefox (rolling-release) disabling some features that may compromise the user's privacy. There is an interesting review of the Iceweasel history for those that want to know more about it.
Icecat
The GNU version of Firefox. Icecat has some nice add-ons to check how Javascript is working on the browsers and to block some unfriendly scripts or threads on the web.

The gemini protocol can be used on specific browsers:
Luakit
luakit is a "fast, extensible and highly customizable" web browser. You can use it using keybindings similar to those used in vim (a text editor)

A small browser and a great project. w3m is designed to be used from a terminal emulator.
eww
eww is really nice tool to browse within emacs.
