MooseFS is a Fault tolerant, High Available, Highly Performing, Scale-Out,
network distributed file system. It spreads data over several physical commodity
servers, which are visible to the user as one resource.

For standard file operations MooseFS acts like any other Unix-like file system.

This port provides: MooseFS clients: mfsmount and mfstools.

sysutils/moosefs-* update to 2.0.72-1 The update to 2.0.72-1 includes splitting the sysutils/moosefs-master port into several new ports to achieve better modularization. This matches the approach upstream has taken with their own FreeBSD packages which they were distributing via their own pkgng repository. Further details are provided in the UPDATING entry. Upstream MooseFS team is now taking maintainership of these ports. MooseFS is a fault tolerant, network distributed file system. moosefs client is any number of machines using mfsmount process to communicate with the managing server (to receive and modify file metadata) and with chunkservers (to exchange actual file data).
