Over 120 individual programs plus dozens of programmer libraries and
feature plugins are released simultaneously as part of KDE Gear.
Today they all get new bugfix source releases with updated translations, including:
* ark: Properly check if there is sufficient free space available

Don't force /p:Platform="x86" and trust the default
AnyCPU (anycpu32bitpreferred). This should make it
compatible with x86, x64, and ARM, while previously
it was compatible only with x86, x64, but not ARM.

KDE today announces the release of KDE Frameworks 5.103.0.
KDE Frameworks are 83 addon libraries to Qt which provide a wide variety
of commonly needed functionality in mature, peer reviewed and well
tested libraries with friendly licensing terms. For an introduction see
the KDE Frameworks release announcement.
This release is part of a series of planned monthly releases making
improvements available to developers in a quick and predictable manner.

The code used a very old "all arguments are compatible with int"
method for a varargs message function. Convert it to <stdarg.h>.
While at it, replace a few private library function declarations by
their appropriate header file includes.
www/writefreely had a stray duplicate MAINTAINER block
from an earlier botched commit. I did intentionally not
touch the entry in UPDATING.

Despite installer's default behaviour to compile and install bytecode,
we are not doing so going forward at stage/package time. [0] During
initial development and qualification of PEP-517 framework support,
compiling and installing bytecode at stage/package time was considered,
but was found problematic, fragile and ultimately unreliable, both
currently and historically (with USE_PYTHON=distutils), due to our
fixed plist requirement. While the living binary distribution format
(wheel) specification [1] says to compile bytecode, that is in the
pure Python package management context (pip, etc); nuance always
exists when interacting with "system" package management.
Additionally, "bytecode is an implementation detail of the CPython
interpreter. No guarantees are made that bytecode will not be added,
removed, or changed between versions of Python," thus "should not
be considered to work across Python VMs or Python releases." [2]
This is important to ensuring correctness for those ports specifying
NO_ARCH.
Instead of compiling and installing bytecode at stage/package time,
there is a WIP, review D34739, that compiles and installs bytecode
at install time instead, using triggers.
The aforementioned build_fs_violations will be investigated.

Add patch to make m_offset reliable. Due to some race conditions on the
pipeline between FreeBSD's yes a, which emits 8190-long writes on
13-STABLE, and GNU dd (gdd), which it pipes its output into, gdd can
sometimes receive short reads occasionally, and because the count=
normally is the number of read(2) calls dispatched, this then leads to a
shorter reference "file system" that we crcsum, and that causes false
negative test results. gdd warns that iflag=fullblock would avoid
effects of short reads, but this warning is discarded in the test
script. Anyways, patch m_offset to use dd's and gdd's iflag=fullblock,
which causes (g)dd to call read(2) again until the block is full for
each nominal block, so we definitely read the desired output size 512 kB
no matter what shorter blocks might travel through the pipeline.
