URLs automatically rewritten from /search?dist=Foo or /dist/Foo
to /dist/Foo/ (note trailing slash). After a 2002(!) reorganization,
this is the preferred way to refer to modules on search.cpan.org.
This pass brought to you by http://people.freebsd.org/~fenner/fix-search
the simple case it's no more complex than s{^~/}{$HOME/}, but
for other cases it consults C<getpwent> and does the right
thing.
