1c48a33005 The 2.01a38 distfile has been removed from the official mirrors after the
release of 2.01-final. Unbreak this port for FreeBSD 5.3 by adding another
master site which actually has the distfile.

feaac6c630 Update to 2.01a38. This fixes a security bug in the rscsi client code
and adds a workaround for a not further specified problem in FreeBSD
UID handling and suid cdda2wav.
2.01a37 only had Linux-specific changes over the 2.01a36 version of
this port.

baa05fd357 Update to 2.01a34 which is the first release canditate for the upcoming
2.01-final (ETA 1 week).
2.01a33 was skipped because the new DMA speed check erroneously detected
the maximum speed as 0 with a lot of drives which made cdrecord refuse to
burn by default.

adc728b113 - Update to 2.01a27.
Notes: - Since 2.01a26 cdrecord has a new option "-tao" (Track At Once)
for what was the default write mode in previous versions.
Currently, cdrecord still falls back to writing in TAO mode if
no writing mode has been specified but this might change in a
future version (infact, the release notes for 2.01a26 already
say that cdrecord won't burn a CD if no write mode has been
           specified).
         - Cdrecord 2.01a26 was broken in that it only wrote in TAO mode,
           which was fixed in 2.01a27.
  For changes since 2.01a25 see:
  ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/AN-2.01a26
  and
  ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/AN-2.01a27
- Add a workaround for what appears to be a problem with gmake and certain
  locales on -current. [1]
- Correct a typo in pkg-descr.mkisofs inherited from the cdrtools ABOUT
  file.
- Remove the workaround for the broken mlockall(2) on EOL'ed FreeBSD 5.1.
- No longer compile with -DSOURCE_MODIFIED, the cdrecord sources are no
longer altered by this port except for changing the location of the
configuration file, which is done in compliance with the terms in
  cdrecord/defaults.c.
- Make the direct ATAPI transport (cooked_ioctl interface) of cdda2wav
(e.g. when used via `cdda2wav -D /dev/acd0`) work on FreeBSD after
ata(4) was GEOM'ifed and the CDIOCREADAUDIO ioctl removed.
Note: For qualitiy reasons (e.g. to be able to fix/work around broken
TOCs etc.) cdda2wav should be used with its generic_scsi interface
        (e.g. via `cdda2wav -D 2,0,0` and using atapicam(4) if you have an
ATAPI device). However, there are some ATAPI devices around where
the latter simply doesn't work (look at e.g. PR 62507 or the audit-
trail of PR 60233 for examples).
- Properly initialise the verbosity level of cdda2wav when the cooked_ioctl
interface is used so it's disabled by default (the outcome of this bug is
actually compiler dependend, with GCC 2.95.4 verbosity is off by default,
  with GCC 3.3.3 it's on).

Note: The patches for the last two items where sent to Heiko Eissfeldt, the
author of cdda2wav, and from his replies I was of the opinion that he
"accepted" them and they would be incorporated in cdrtools 2.01a26.
However, they still didn't show up in the cdrtools sources and I so
far didn't get any reply to my email asking if there would be anything
      wrong with them.

c01c6d23da - Update cdrtools-devel port to 2.01a25 which fixes a crash of cdrecord.
For a full list of changes see:
  ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/AN-2.01a25
- Fix previous commit which made the cdrtools-devel port to not print the
available knob in the pre-everything target when said knob is turned on to
not offer it when compiling mkisofs-devel. Note that the former behaviour
will be removed again in case the cdrtools-devel port grows more knobs,
it's just to much mess in the makefile then.
- Introduce a small hack in the makefile of the cdrtools-devel port so the
cdrtools version has to be only specified once for PORTVERSION and DISTNAME.
- Reword the desciption of rscsi in the pre-everything message and the PLIST
to make clear that rscsi is the remote SCSI daemon and clients are built
  into cdda2wav, cdrecord, etc. unconditionally.
- Bump the PORTREVISION of the mkisofs-devel port as underlying libraries
  have changed.

- Obey the (changed) "GPL clarifications text" in cdrecord.c and compile
with "-DSOURCE_MODIFIED" as this port slightly modifies cdrtools.
- Remove the WITH_DVDHACK knob, this port is pretty much unmaintainable
with this patch on its coat-tails. If you want to write DVDs please use
a tool like dvdrtools or cdrecord-prodvd that is written for that purpose
and coordinate with their authors if they don't work for you.

8b437c819a - Add a knob WITH_DVDHACK that builds cdrecord with a third-party patch
allowing to record DVD-R[W]s. [1]
NOTE: Please don't blame Joerg Schilling or ask for support on the

at the output of `cdrecord -version`.
- Append '-rscsi' to PKGNAMESUFFIX when built with WITH_RSCSI (equivalent
is done when built with WITH_DVDHACK).

  where it triggers a panic.

c7aadf88d2 Add sysutils/cdrtools-devel (currently at version 2.01a18) and
sysutils/mkisofs-devel (currently at version 2.01a17) after repo-copy
from sysutils/cdrtools respectively sysutils/mkisofs.
The cdrtools-devel and mkisofs-devel ports are for the alpha versions,
for further information on changes since cdrtools 2.00 see
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/AN-2.01a01 up to AN-2.01a18.

Further changes to the cdrtools-devel and mkisofs-devel ports to
relative to the existing ports of cdrtools and mkisofs are:

Changes common to cdrtools-devel and mkisofs-devel:
- Delete targets for mkisofs and friends when building cdrtools and vice
versa to speed up the build of the respective port.
- Respect CC already at the configure-stage (Patch taken from the OpenBSD
  port of cdrtools).
- Add patches to prefer seteuid(2) over setreuid(2), this s inconsistend
with the cdrtools package (Mostly based on patches from the NetBSD
  port/pkgsrc of cdrtools).
- Manually replace included copies of config.guess and config.sub with
versions from ${PORTSDIR}/Templates. This is necessary as the cdrtools
package doesn't have a valid configure script in it's root directory
but several in sub-directories that are executed by the SING (Schily
Is Not Gnu) makefile system further down the road. Therefor the port
can't set GNU_CONFIGURE which would automatically copy the relevant
  files.
- Install some relevant READMEs in DOCSDIR (unless NOPORTDOCS is set),
some manual pages also reference these.

Changes to cdrtools-devel:
- Fix COMMENT, this port doesn't install mkisofs. Honor that some tools
of the cdrtools package (namely cdda2wav and readcd) are for extracting
  CDs/CD-R[W]s.
- Install scgcheck, a tool to check and validate the ABI of libscg.
- Patch cdrecord to use ${PREFIX}/etc as the location of the global
configuration file, rather than using /etc/default. The installed
documentaion also gets patched accordingly and a PKGMESSAGE reflecting
this change as required by the license of cdrtools is added (The idea
for this and some wording in the PKGMESSAGE are taken from the NetBSD
port/pkgsrc of cdrtools). See also PR ports/50835.
- Install a sample configuration file for cdrecord, also install a
configuration file if it doesn't already exist (the file doesn't cause
problems if one doesn't edit it to suit local needs).
- Patch manpages to better correspond to files and locations on FreeBSD.
- Add a knob to optionally build and install rcsi, a tool that allows using
SCSI-devices over the network. The required rscsi user gets added
automatically and templates for the configuration file also get installed.
PKGINSTALL points to for further information on how to configure remote
  access to SCSI-devices.
Everything using lib(r)scg can act as a client to rscsi, e.g.
sysutils/sformat (requires a bit of patching, however doesn't make much
sense to use this over the network) and sysutils/cdrdao (requires a bit
  of patching).
- Remove BSD_SCSI_SENSE_BUG from COPTX (CFLAGS) to libscg. It is a
workaround for a (probably alumnus) bug in a SCSI-driver of NetBSD and
the affected code doesn't get compiled on neither pre-CAM nor CAM
  versions of FreeBSD.

Changes to mkisofs-devel:
- Add MLINKS for devdump.8, isodump.8, isovfy.8 to isoinfo.8.
- Install isodebug, a simple tool to display the creation date and the
commandline options used to create a certain ISO-image with mkisofs.
- Remove apple_driver.8, this tool doesn't get installed.
- Replace mkhybrid.8 (just includes mkisofs.8, broken without patching)
  with a MLINKS to mkisofs.8.
- Quiet portlint (3 errors/1 warning -> 0 errors/1 warning).

None of these changes is bound to the alpha versions of the cdrtools
package and may be "back-ported" to sysutils/cdrtools (apart from a
security issue with rscsi of cdrtools 2.00.3).
