57d43c0887 Update to 3.23.59 snapshot: 
- Switch to rcNG
- Add the possibility to specify the database directory in rc.conf
- Move database creation from post-install stage into startup script

c9989eb4c4 - Completely restructure the port to follow other mysql* ports 
(too many improvements to be listed here)
- Correctly support PTHREAD_LIBS/CFLAGS
- Use USE_GNOME=lthack
- Propagate DB_DIR in package [1]
- Use my @FreeBSD.org email address
- Bump PORTREVISION

e1d84112f9 - introduce DB_DIR variable to specify database directory if 
different from /var/db/mysql
  (e. g. make DB_DIR=/export/databases/mysql install)
- put functionality of check_old_version into Makefile and remove
  check_old_version (good bye, good old friend...)

f154bc0b9c - install gifs for HTML documentation 
- put mysqld in a sandbox:
  - create user and group 'mysql' (uid and gid 88)
  - start mysqld with user 'mysql'
