math/fftw3 is only needed for the test suite; audio/libsndfile
is only needed for an example program and the test suite;
respect NOPORTEXAMPLES; don't build the docs if NOPORTDOCS is
defined; provide a test target; shorten a long line
to fix DVB support. (which still is broken for tuners using
hardware pid filtering, like when running webcamd with
"-m dvb-usb-init.force_pid_filter_usage=1".)
- Add patches to fix build of ports depending on libxine to:
audio/amarok,
graphics/gimageview [1], graphics/pornview [1],
graphics/osg [2], graphics/osg-devel [2],
multimedia/emotion,
x11/kdelibs4 [3],
multimedia/kmplayer,
multimedia/konverter,
multimedia/qdvdauthor [4],
multimedia/vdr-plugin-xineliboutput,
multimedia/xfce4-media [5],
multimedia/xine_artsplugin,
multimedia/k9copy-kde4 [6]
- Fix RUN_DEPENDS= xine... which should be LIB_DEPENDS for audio/atunes . [7]
- Mark multimedia/phonon-xine BROKEN which refuses to build with
libxine 1.2.x and is deprecated upstream. [3]
- Disable XINE knob for x11/eaglemode for which I don't have a fix. [2]
- Note: multimedia/kaffeine runs after rakuco's x11/kdelibs4 fix,
but it only shows a green window at least with mp4 or ts files.
(avi files and audio still work.) It seems the kaffeine developers
have found this too and are now switching away from libxine in
their git repo - so I guess we'll have a broken kaffeine at least
until they release a new version.
- Bump PORTREVISIONs for ports depending on libxine by default.
- Add optional libbluray support to multimedia/libxine and
multimedia/vdr-plugin-xineliboutput.

GHC in the ports tree has been updated to version 7.0.4 and the port revision
for all the Haskell ports without version changes are bumped. Other per-port
updates are coming soon.
This update also incorporates some improvements for bsd.cabal.mk that makes
working with Haskell ports even easier.

Changes to the port:

ports use BUILD_DEPENDS:= ${RUN_DEPENDS}. This patch fixes ports that are
currently broken. This is a temporary measure until we organically stop using
:= or someone(s) spend a lot of time changing all the ports over.
Explicit duplication > := > = and this just moves ports one step to the left

In cases where I had to hand-edit unusual instances also
modify formatting slightly to be more uniform (and in
some cases, correct). This includes adding some $FreeBSD$
tags, and most importantly moving rcvar= to right after
name= so it's clear that one is derived from the other.

This release includes a fix for a major LilyPond export bug, so if you do

the CPU usage reduction work and updated translations.

much unbuildable perl modules over the weekend finished demotivating me.

The last.fm fingerprint library
The fingerprinting process works in two steps:
1. Get PCM data and pass it to *fplib* which will return byte string to be
submitted to the last.fm HTTP fingerprint service. This will return a number
(fingerprintID).
2. Query the last.fm API with the fingerprintID and obtain the metadata in xml
format.
The lastfmfpclient directory contains an example of application that uses fplib
and queries both services.
