c6ff45501f New port: cwTeX 
cwTeX is a famous TeX/LaTeX derivative in Taiwan, which runs on
MS-DOS, Windows, Linux, and now on FreeBSD.

Of course, cwTeX is subject to process Chinese character gracefully.

c0cd77da68 Something wrong in my local configuration :) Most people do not have 
WANT_FULL_GETTEXT=YES in their /etc/make.conf. Revert to old patchset,
and wait for gettext 0.10.40 becomes default.

8fdfd13285 Use ${ECHO_CMD} instead of ${ECHO} where you mean the echo command; 
the ECHO macro is set to "echo" by default, but it is set to "true" if
make(1) is invoked with the -s option while ECHO_CMD is always set to
the echo command.

Use command macros where appropriate.

jis2gb converts JISX0208-1983 and JISX0212-1990 characters
to  GB2312-80  and  GB8565-88  characters.   JISX0208-1983
(^[$B),  JISX0208-1990  (^[&@^[$B), JISX0212-1990 (^[$(D),
JISC6226-1978 (^[$@), and Japanese-EUC are  available  for
Kanji code.

17d2557acf Chinese GBK/Big5 locales for Linux Glibc 2.1 
Notice: I know chinese/cle_base which corresponds to emulators/linux_base
and Chinese locale but it is large and if cle_base is installed then
Asian languages except Chinese could *NOT* be used when I tried.
In zh-linux_locale + linux_base, almost languages could be used.
So this port is needed to treat these.

1ea758f720 Add chinese/bind8, a slave port of net/bind8. 
The patchset for this port simply does one thing: let 8 bit character go.

According to the submitter, the patchset is derived from twnic.net,
which allows multilingual .tw domain name registration now.

f608489412 New port: zhcon 
Zhcon is a fast Linux Console Chinese System which supports
framebuffer device.It can display Chinese,Japanese or Korean
double byte characters.Supported language encodings include:
GB2312,GBK,BIG5,JIS and KSCM.

It can also use input methods(table based) from Windows 98 and
UCDOS for MS-DOS.

d739331a67 This package contains the standard Big5+ Chinese Ming 24x24 bitmap font (and 
a resized 16x16 bitmap font) by CMEX and DynaLab for the X Window System
(PCF). This is one of the few Big5 or Big5+ Chinese bitmap fonts on the
Internet that is DFSG-compliant.

The font was designed by DynaLab and released by CMEX as part of the
proposed Big5+ standard documentation. It was then converted to HBF and BDF
format and further modified by Wei-Lun Chao in September 1998.
