lost the small part. The small part was GCONF_SCHEMAS in bsd.gnome.mk that is
taking care of gconf key and schemas files for pkg-plist. Pav has committed by
re-add GCONF_SCHEMAS back in bsd.gnome.mk this afternoon. Therefore, must bump
PORTREVISION to correct our pkg-plist database installed.
Fix the list of dependencies so it no longer depends on xorg-libraries.
For server installs this was unnecessary. Bump port version, take hazard
suit off, and dispose of used suit in incinerator.

- Update the maildir header cache patch.
- Fix the libidn dependency.
- Fix PREFIX/LOCALBASE handling
- Bump PORTREVISION.

This release notes detailing all of the new goodies in GNOME 2.8 can
be found at http://www.gnome.org/start/2.8/notes/, and the list of what
was fixed in GNOME 2.8.1 can be found at
http://lists.gnome.org/archives/gnome-announce-list/2004-October/msg00056.html.
This release, as well as all of our others, would not have been possible
without the great efforts of our FreeBSD GNOME Team. The list of
current members can be found at http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/contact.html
(including our newest member, Michael Johnson <ahze@FreeBSD.org>).
Special thanks also goes out to all of the loyal FreeBSD GNOME users that
put up with crashes and hangs to test and debug GNOME on FreeBSD. We would
especially like to thank those users that provided patches for GNOME 2.7 and
2.8:
Franz Klammer <klammer@webonaut.com>
Piotr Smyrak <piotr.smyrak@heron.pl>
Radek Kozlowski <radek@raadradd.com>
Khairil Yusof <kaeru@pd.jaring.my>
Yasuda Keisuke <kysd@po.harenet.ne.jp>
Tom McLaughlin <tmclaugh@sdf.lonestar.org>
Vladimir Grebenschikov <vova@fbsd.ru>
GNOME 2.8 also features a new, FreeBSD-specific splashscreen that
was designed by jimmac for GNOME 2.8, then daemonized by
Franz Klammer <klammer@webonaut.com> and Radek Kozlowski
<radek@raadradd.com>.
As with GNOME 2.6, you cannot just "portupgrade" to GNOME 2.8. There is
a script provided at http://www.marcuscom.com/downloads/gnome_upgrade28.sh
that will aid in the upgrade process. Full documentation on the GNOME 2.8
upgrade is coming following this commit.
From all of us at FreeBSD GNOME, ENJOY!
Wrapper for PEAR::Mail and PEAR::DB (or PEAR::MDB/MDB2).
It can load, save and send saved mails in background
and also backup some mails.

Set this universally since it's quite plausible that other 64bit platforms
may need this. Don't bump the port version since it wasn't installable on
the systems that would need the portversion bump.
- Disconnect tools directory from build, to save build time and to avoid patches
- Cosmetics in rc script

This update fixes among many other tiny bugs one security bug that
allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service in bogofilter,
by crashing it; a malformatted (non-conformant) RFC-2047 encoded
word triggers an attempt to write a terminating NUL byte past the
end of a buffer or (more commonly) into the zero-page, which causes
a segfault.
Depending on the exact MTA/MDA configuration on the receiving
machine, this can cause a denial of service of the mail system.

CAUTION: for existing users, edit your ${HOME}/.popfile/popfile.cfg
(or whatever popfile configuration file) as follows:
before: bayes_dbconnect dbi:SQLite:dbname=$dbname
after: bayes_dbconnect dbi:SQLite2:dbname=$dbname
(change the word "SQLite" to "SQLite2")
files/patch-Bayes.pm also added, to use dbi:SQLite2 by default.
Since the contents is changed, bump PORTREVISION.
This commit also introduce a new option, WITH_POPFILE_SSL. Since 0.22.0,
popfile supports SSL connection for clients. If WITH_POPFILE_SSL is defined
(default not defined), add security/p5-IO-Socket-SSL to RUN_DEPENDS.
Please note that this changes is based on PR: 71938, thank you Daniel.

correctly (because then it is not utf8 valid as well)
Force converting the header and the xover data (usenet) to utf-8 in case
it isn't 7bit clean by assuming the header was written in the charset
locale(1) reports. That might be wrong, but I see no other way.
We can't detect the charset in which the header was written in (for
example, xover data doesn't have any informations in it about content-type)
because Content-Type only affecty the message-body.
Approved By: maintainer (implicit)
Taken From: sylpheed-claws gtk2 CVS branch
messages should be also converted into utf-8 format.
That fixes the problem I had with wiped out lines containing non-7bit-clean
chars. (like german umlauts)
Bump PORTREVISION

- Add pkg-message warning the user about the configuration file syntax
