This port uses pre-compiled Linux binaries, since building from source takes a lot of effort and there is still a lot of work remaining for a native FreeBSD port to become available. This port should work with either Apache-1.3.x or Apache-2 but requires PostgreSQL-7.2.x (postgresql72) because of compiled-in references to a shared library.
