It is recommend for you to remove the ~/.liferea and ~/.gconf/apps/liferea,

because it's heavy rewritten and made some changed in the cache of vfolder and
|
|
directory. This can be done following the command line:

rm -rf ~/.liferea ~/.gconf/apps/liferea
