Before you use ortep3 with pgplot library,

run pgdisp server and setenv PGPLOT_DEV as
|
|
|
|
% pgdisp &
|
|
% setenv PGPLOT_DEV /xdisp
|
|
|
|
then you can see the ortep-drawing on a pgplot window.
