xawtv is a set of utilities to manage the video4linux interface (and BSD's
bktr driver too). The main component of the suite is xawtv itself, which
is a X11 application to watch the TV.
I'm importing this package here mainly for one reason: I can't get the
overlay mode work, at least on NetBSD. If somebody knows how to fix it,
or at least try the program in his system (it may be my fault, too)...
VCDGear is a program designed to allow a user to extract MPEG streams from
CD images, convert VCD files to MPEG, correct MPEG errors, and more -- all
in a single step. Initially developed back in late 1997, the program has
grown to do various extractions, conversions, and corrections on the fly.
Cross-platform support will allow different machines to process and
generate output that is compatible between one another.
People requiring the need to transport their video materials will find
VCDGear as a useful tool to assist them in getting the video to play on
their computer or Video CD player.

The pinball game that was discussed on the mailinglist, it uses
allegro. It doesn't work but Thomas asked me to import it anyway, so
here it is.
Pinball is a small game developed using the Allegro game development
library.

with a QNX(tm) look and feel.

These tools allow information about (ogminfo) or extraction
from (ogmdemux) or creation of (ogmmerge) OGG media
streams. Note that I'll use OGM for "OGG media streams".
You steer a futuristic bike, called lightcycle.
Combat takes place in a rectangular arena. Your
bike leaves a trail behind, which is like a wall.
The goal is to force the other players to drive
into a wall. The winner is the last player alive.
(Besides, every geek in this world knows the film.)
This is a well known DrWeb antivirus suite for FreeBSD/i386 machines.
It is much alike traditional DrWeb for DOS, but in addition to
virus disk scanner it includes DrWeb daemon, which can serve requests
from network making this suite very flexible for many purposes,
such as mail filtering or powerful dedicated antivirus servers.
