Changes:
This release has updated translations and fixes for several bugs.
Versions required for libraries have been upgraded, and a new option
has been added to start a maximized terminal.... Some deprecated
functions have been removed.
Fix in generating "update plan"
(extra -pkgname were needed for upgrade).

dos2unix includes utilities to convert text files with DOS or MAC
line endings to Unix line endings and vice versa. It is an update
of Benjamin Lin's implementations.
The intitial import drops these patches but turned out
should be active again.

is included. Following 7 patches are now included in
upstream release and dropped for 9.00

This is (almost minimum) upgrade from 8.71nb7 and two changes included:

Ghostscript is the well-known PostScript interpreter which is available for
all common and most esoteric platforms and supports many different printers
and some displays.
This is the latest version of Ghostscript, formerly being distributed
under Aladdin Free Public License and released under GPL. The main
ghostscript version now includes support for cups, enabled by the
"cups" option (which is off by default), and thus it is no longer
necessary to use ghostscript-esp.

ODE is a free, industrial quality library for simulating articulated rigid body
dynamics - for example ground vehicles, legged creatures, and moving objects in
VR environments. It is fast, flexible, robust and platform independent, with
advanced joints, contact with friction, and builtin collision detection
Statsmodels is a python package that provides a complement to scipy for
statistical computations including descriptive statistics and
estimation of statistical models.
scikits.statsmodels provides classes and functions for the estimation of
several categories of statistical models. These currently include linear
regression models, OLS, GLS, WLS and GLS with AR(p) errors, generalized
linear models for six distribution families, M-estimators for robust
linear models, and regression with discrete dependent variables, Logit,
Probit, MNLogit, Poisson, based on maximum likelihood estimators.
An extensive list of result statistics are avalable for each estimation
problem.
