pkgsrc-wip/linux-modutils-old/TODO
Jeremy C. Reed fee01767e2 Modutils is a collection of utilities for managing Linux kernel
modules. These tools handle loadable Linux kernel module dependencies,
installing loadable modules in the running Linux kernel, report on Linux
kernel symbols, etc.

This installs the tools for Linux kernels before 2.5.48.
It installs some tools named with .old extension so they
can be installed at the same time as the linux-module-init-tools
package.

make a Makefile.common for linux-modutils and use it
build dependencies: ranlib, ar, bison, flex
/lib/modules/ is hard-coded in man pages and code
should linux-kernel and modutils be in same pkgsrc category?
provide better example of modules.conf
It would be nice if pkgsrc would provide an automatically generated
MESSAGE about how to enable the rc.d script.
Maybe have a MESSAGE about setting up ${PKG_SYSCONFDIR}/modules
for boot-time.
maybe a different HOMEPAGE should be used
no rc.d script
