pkgsrc-wip/linux-hotplug/TODO
Jeremy C. Reed a0d5ec62fe This linux-hotplug package provides scripts to let you plug in new
devices and have them autoconfigure themselves under Linux. Hotplug
supports USB and PCI (Cardbus) devices, some common network
interfaces, IEEE 1394 (Firewire/i.Link) support, USB firmware,
docking stations, etc.

I started making this package in April, but never finished.
I import here to conitnue working on it. Any volunteers would
be appreciated.

from readme:
On Kernel 2.4 based systems, you may want to avoid installing the separate
"pcmcia_cs" package. It's not integrated with kernel hotplugging, and
appears not to handle Cardbus as well as needed. On the other hand, if
you need to use PCMCIA (16 bit) cards, you'll likely need it.
