(originally from OpenBSD). I have tested it with a mouse on amd64, though it was originally written to support the zaurus. Seems to work fine, but needs testing on other platforms.

To use this driver, your xorg.conf file should have an entry like this:

Identifier "UeberMaus"
|
|
Driver "ws"
|
|
Option "Device" "/dev/wsmouse"
|
|
|
|
This should work with many wscons pointing devices, especially the zaurus.
