grant beattie 0e2388f791 symlink gtk2 and other required libs into the installation directory. 
this allows the binary to at least find the libraries on Linux,
but it is segfaulting on startup for me on Slackware 9 after adding
glibc 2.3.2 to satisfy the requirement.
