This package implements a PerlIO layer, that adds read/write

timeout. This can be useful to avoid blocking while accessing
|
||
|
|
a handle (file, socket, ...), and fail after some time.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
The timeout is implemented by using <select> on the handle
|
||
|
|
before reading/writing.
