pkgsrc/sysutils/depot/DESCR

Depot manages packages similar to pkg_* and RPM, but does so by mapping
several installation trees into a common base (such as /usr/local) using
symbolic links.  GNU's `stow' was inspired by Depot, though both have
features that the other does not.
Import of the CMU depot 5.14 utility, for managing directory trees of symbolic links, to the NetBSD packages collection. This package was done by Todd Vierling, in PR pkg/4975.
