0f9386c8fc Updated XaoS to 3.2.2.
Changes since 3.1:

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.2.2
------------------------------------

This release contains a rewritten Mac OS X port by J. B. Langston III,
and some small fixes for pipes by Marton Torok. For more details
please read the ChangeLog file.

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.2.1
------------------------------------

A new fractal type, the Spidron hornflake has appeared. We changed
the web site to a dokuwiki database, so the help system contains
now a converter for dokuwiki (not completely working yet).

STICKY/DESTDIR is now supported (by Claudio Fontana). The French
translation is updated (by Philippe Wautelet). Bigger fonts are
available for Latin-2 based usage if the user changes the screen
resolution more than 800x600 or 1000x720.

Some small fixes have been done in the catalog files.

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.2
----------------------------------

Main points are the classic Sierpinski and Koch fractals, but still
other formulas are introduced. Some 'oldie but goldie' fractals are
included from the Fractint formula database. The keystroke order has been
changed a little bit. Now gcc-4.0.x is also supported (-mcpu is deprecated
now and the source had to be modified for this).

The new formulas are demonstrated with 3 new tutorial movies. These are
also available in Hungarian language. Volunteers are requested to
translate the new movies into other languages.

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.1.3
------------------------------------

Using this release gcc version 4.0 should also compile the code, not only
the 3.x versions.

Two new fractal types were also added. In addition, the DirectX header
files have been fixed. The French translations are updated.

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.1.2
------------------------------------

This release is a fast bugfix for some gcc versions (or more precisely,
there is a workaround for the B-B bug, see the ChangeLog for details).
The example files were not able to load in version 3.1.1 and msgmerge
was not recognized (this is fixed, however not tested yet).

There are other small but irrelevant fixes (see ChangeLog), too.

RELEASE NOTES FOR XAOS VERSION 3.1.1
------------------------------------

This release is a CVS snapshot freeze for those who are using newer
systems. The most important update is a fix for gcc-3.4. There are also

- improvements in French and Spanish translations,
- some more example files (contributed by Zsigmond Kovács),
- some fixes which patch annoying problems.

PolyGlot tries to solve known problems with other adapters. For
instance, it detects and reports draws by fifty-move rule, repetition,

will do is demonstrate the different text modes that are available with

VERSION 1.2.9 (May 18 2006)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Added utils/rsnapreport.pl, written by William Bear.

- Add more examples and comments to rsnapshot.conf.default.in
- In Makefile*, for "make tar", include "t" (testing) in the tar file.

(This was a bug in rsnapshot 1.2.3 if you use "backup host:/ ...")
- Give a more descriptive error message "cannot have a remote snapshot_root"
if user tries to configure an ssh path or rsync path as snapshot_root.
- Add some more description to the error "rsnapshot refuses to create
snapshot_root when no_create_root is enabled", after checking whether
the snapshot_root is a non-directory file, or just plain non-existent.
- Changed default syslog level to 'info' instead of 'notice'
- Added include_conf directive
- Allowed remote ssh directory paths starting with "~/" as well as "/".
- Changed rsnapshot maintainer from Nathan Rosenquist to David Cantrell

file that is being replaced with a directory
- Fixed error message for dest not being specified in sync_rm_dest()
- Changed skip message level to 2 in rsync_backup_point()

  strip_trailing_slash()
- Fixed incorrect call to cmd_rm_rf() in handle_interval()
- Fixed trailing slash on call to bail() in handle_interval()
- Added sync_first feature (touches a lot of code)
- When link_dest is enabled, rsnapshot will now hunt for the newest available
directory to use as a link_dest target (up to the oldest directory)

  delete
- Expanded on default (no args) and help messages

26d41e536c Updated url2pkg to 2.1.
Changes since 2.0:

- Made the dependency detection for Perl modules work again. The code
does not assume to be run in a special directory anymore.

- Perl modules that use the prompt() function to query the user
interactively can be handled. All questions are assumed to be answered
  by just pressing <enter>.

- Made url2pkg more robust when interpreting the output of MakeMaker.pm.
Many Perl modules write additional things to stdout during the
  generation of the Makefile.

- The language for the *.f files is "fortran", not "f".

- Fixed the regular expression for prdownloads.sourceforge.net links, so
that the distfile name is properly extracted.

dd11e141d0 Update pkgtools/pkglint to 4.71 - lintpkgsrc changes:
- Handle 'badly named' patch files
  - In the event of a distint checksum mismatch, report the affected file
    as well as package
  - If we need to call out to make to parse a makefile and it returns any
errors, ensure we prefix the error output with the Makefile path
  - run through perltidy. Ugly, but consistent

e83bd55e3f Imported p5-Carp-Clan.
This module reports errors from the perspective of the caller of a
"clan" of modules, similar to "Carp.pm" itself. But instead of giving it
a number of levels to skip on the calling stack, you give it a pattern
to characterize the package names of the "clan" of modules which shall
never be blamed for any error. :-)

So these modules stick together like a "clan" and any error which occurs
will be blamed on the "outsider" script or modules not belonging to this
"clan".

17433b2312 Update to 1.4.7:
Version 1.4.7 - 25 September 2006, by Eric Blake (CVS version 1.4.6a)

* Fix regression from 1.4.5 in handling a file that ends in a macro
expansion without arguments instead of a newline.
* The define and pushdef macros now warn when the first argument is not
a string, rather than silently doing nothing.
* Standard input can now be read more than once, as in 'm4 - file -', and
is not closed until all wrapped text is handled. This makes a
difference when stdin is not a regular file, and also fixes bugs when
using the syscmd or esyscmd macros from wrapped text.
* When standard input is a seekable file, the m4exit, syscmd, and esyscmd
macros now restore the current position to the next unread byte rather
than discarding an arbitrary amount of buffered data.
* SysV command-line compatibility is no longer a goal of GNU M4; the
focus will be instead on POSIX compatibility. This release continues to
support previous usage, but adds warnings in areas which will allow a
future version of GNU M4 to use its own extensions without being tied to
  the SysV command line interface.
* The no-op compatibility command line options -B, -N, -S, -T, and
--diversions may be withdrawn or assigned new meanings in future
releases, so they now issue a warning if used.
* A new command line option -i replaces the compatibility -e as the
short spelling of --interactive, for consistency with other GNU tools; a
warning is issued if the old spelling is used, and it may be assigned new
  meaning in future releases.
* A new command line option --debugfile replaces the options -o and
--error-output as the preferred spelling. The old options were
misleading in their names and inconsistent with other GNU tools; they are
still silently accepted, but no longer documented in --help, and may be
assigned new meanings in future releases.
