0.19.2:
BUG FIXES
* Fix deprecated Index.iterblobs method.
0.19.1:
IMPROVEMENTS
* Add 'dulwich.mailmap' file for reading mailmap files.
* Dulwich no longer depends on urllib3[secure]. Instead,
"dulwich[https]" can be used to pull in the necessary
dependencies for HTTPS support.
* Support the `http.sslVerify` and `http.sslCAInfo`
configuration options.
* Factor out `dulwich.client.parse_rsync_url` function.
* Fix repeat HTTP requests using the same smart HTTP client.
* New 'client.PLinkSSHVendor' for creating connections using PuTTY's plink.exe.
* Only pass in `key_filename` and `password` to SSHVendor
implementations if those parameters are set.
(This helps with older SSHVendor implementations)
API CHANGES
* Index.iterblobs has been renamed to Index.iterobjects.
With pkgsrc built packages, the goal is to have the user's compiler
optimization flags set by the user using CFLAGS, etc. To that end,
the cmake Makefile has subst.mk code to "sed -e 's,-O.,,'" out opt.
flags in Modules/Compiler/*.cmake for cmake compiles with the
CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE set (e.g. to Release).
Unfortunately, this sed-based approach has two drawbacks: First, it
gets applied to packages build with cmake outside of pkgsrc (changing
the semantics of -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release in an unexpected way by
remove -O flags from it). Second, the sed expression damages some
of the Modules/Compiler/*.cmake as not all opt flags match the "-O."
regular expression.
To address this we:
1. remove the subst.mk sed operation on Modules/Compiler/*.cmake
2. add a new config variable CMAKE_PKGSRC_BUILD_FLAGS that should
be set for pkgsrc-based cmake builds (e.g. in mk/configure/cmake.mk)
3. we add a patch for Modules/Compiler/GNU.cmake to look for
CMAKE_PKGSRC_BUILD_FLAGS and choose a set of non-opt compiler
flags when this is set (to provide the desired behavior under pksrc).
note that the GNU.cmake file is also used by clang. We can
make the corresponding changes to other compilers if desired.
The result is that cmake compiles under pkgsrc set CMAKE_PKGSRC_BUILD_FLAGS
and follow CFLAGS, etc. (bypassing CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE), but cmake compiles
outside of pkgsrc follow the standard cmake semantics for CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE.
Also, we no longer damage Modules/Compiler/*.cmake with sed.

own Python code base, and has been extensively tested and used in
production.
1.2.0:
This is a minor release that essentially updates internal C-Blosc sources to 1.14.2. This is important for forward compatibility reasons. Because of this an update is highly recommended.
Also, support for Python 2.6 and 3.4 has been dropped.

mode. Thanks, Alexandr Ciornii. (GH #6)
r1.14 of src/external/gpl3/binutils/dist/bfd/elflink.c may fix the
underlying problem but r1.55 of pkgsrc/x11/qt5-qtbase/Makefile means
we no longer tickle it so remove.

IPython 6.3.1
This is a bugfix release to switch the default completions back to IPython's own completion machinery. We discovered some problems with the completions from Jedi, including completing column names on pandas data frames.
You can switch the completions source with the config option :configtrait:Completer.use_jedi.
ccache 3.4.2
Bug fixes:
The cleanup algorithm has been fixed to not misbehave when files are removed by another process while the cleanup process is running. Previously, too many files could be removed from the cache if multiple cleanup processes were triggered at the same time, in extreme cases trimming the cache to a much smaller size than the configured limits.
Correctly hash preprocessed headers located in a “.gch directory”. Previously, ccache would not pick up changes to such precompiled headers, risking false positive cache hits.
Fixed build failure when using the bundled zlib sources.
ccache 3.3.5 added a workaround for not triggering Clang errors when a precompiled header’s dependency has an updated timestamp (but identical content). That workaround is now only applied when the compiler is Clang.
Made it possible to perform out-of-source builds in dev mode again.
Notable changes since 1.12.1:
- Serious optimization of memory copy functions (see new
blosc/fastcopy.c). This benefits the speed of all the codecs, but
specially the BloscLZ one.
- As a result of the above, the BloscLZ codec received a new
adjustment of knobs so that you should expect better compression
ratios with it too.
- Fixed a buffer overrun that happens when compressing small buffers
and len(destination_buffer) < (len(source_buffer) +
BLOSC_MAX_OVERHEAD).
- New split mode that favors forward compatibility. That means that,
from now on, all the buffers created starting with blosc 1.14.0 will
be forward compatible with any previous versions of the library --at
least until 1.3.0, when support for multi-codec was introduced.
3.55.0:
This release includes several improvements to the handling of the :obj:~hypothesis.settings.database setting.
The :obj:~hypothesis.settings.database_file setting was a historical artefact, and you should just use :obj:~hypothesis.settings.database directly.
The :envvar:HYPOTHESIS_DATABASE_FILE environment variable is deprecated, in favor of :meth:~hypothesis.settings.load_profile and the :obj:~hypothesis.settings.database setting.
If you have not configured the example database at all and the default location is not usable (due to e.g. permissions issues), Hypothesis will fall back to an in-memory database. This is not persisted between sessions, but means that the defaults work on read-only filesystems.
3.54.0:
This release improves the :func:~hypotheses.strategies.complex_numbers strategy, which now supports min_magnitude and max_magnitude arguments, along with allow_nan and allow_infinity like for :func:~hypotheses.strategies.floats.
3.53.0:
This release removes support for Django 1.8, which reached end of life on 2018-04-01.

- Fix hang on close in :class:.ThreadedKernelClient (used in QtConsole)
when using tornado with asyncio

The biggest change is that the package is now called 'dune' rather than
'jbuilder'; I'm waiting until the package comes out of beta to apply that
name change to pkgsrc.
Otherwise there have been mostly incremental changes and bugfixes,
nothing major; for more information see CHANGES.md.
Buildbot 1.1.0:
Deprecations and Removals:
Removed ramlfication as a dependency to build the docs and run the tests.
Bug fixes:
Fixed buildrequests API doesn’t provide properties data
Fix missing owner on builder build table
Include hipchat as reporter.
Fix encoding issues of commands with Windows workers
Fixed Relax builder name length restriction
Fix the configuration order so that services can actually use secrets
Partially fix Builder page should show the worker information
Features:
Added the defaultProperties parameter to builders.
When a build step has a log called “summary” (case-insensitive), the Build Summary page will sort that log first in the list of logs, and automatically expand it.
Buildbot 1.0.0:
Despite the major version bump, Buildbot 1.0.0 does not have major difference with the 0.9 series. 1.0.0 is rather the mark of API stability. Developers do not foresee a major API break in the next few years like we had for 0.8 to 0.9.
Starting with 1.0.0, Buildbot will follow semver versioning methodology.
Bug fixes:
Cloning Git repository with submodules now works with Git < 1.7.6 instead of failing due to the use of the unsupported --force option.
GitHub hook now properly creates a change in case of new tag or new branch. GitHub changes will have the category set to tag when a tag was pushed to easily distinguish from a branch push.
Fixed issue with Master.expireMasters not always honoring its forceHouseKeeping parameter.
Fixed issue with steps not correctly ending in CANCELLED status when interrupted.
Fix maximum recursion limit issue when transferring large files with LocalWorker (issue:3014).
Added an argument to P4Source that allows users to provide a callable to convert Perforce branch and revision to a valid revlink URL. Perforce supplies a p4web server for resolving urls into change lists.
Fixed issue with buildbot_pkg` not hanging on yarn step on windows
Fix issue with workers notify_on_missing not able to be configurable as a single string instead of list of string
Fixed Builder page should display worker name instead of id
Features:
Add capability to override the default UI settings
All Reporters have been adapted to be able to use Secret. SVNPoller has been adapted to be able to use Secret.
Implement support for Bitbucket Cloud webhook plugin in BitbucketCloudEventHandler
The owners property now includes people associated with the changes of the build
The repo source step now syncs with the --force-sync flag which allows the sync to proceed when a source repo in the manifest has changed.
Add support for compressing the repo source step cache tarball with pigz, a parallel gzip compressor.
SQLite Release 3.23.0:
Add the sqlite3_serialize() and sqlite3_deserialize() interfaces when the SQLITE_ENABLE_DESERIALIZE compile-time option is used.
Recognize TRUE and FALSE as constants. (For compatibility, if there exist columns named "true" or "false", then the identifiers refer to the columns rather than Boolean constants.)
Support operators IS TRUE, IS FALSE, IS NOT TRUE, and IS NOT FALSE.
Added the SQLITE_DBSTATUS_CACHE_SPILL option to sqlite3_db_status() for reporting the number of cache spills that have occurred.
The "alternate-form-2" flag ("!") on the built-in printf implementation now causes string substitutions to measure the width and precision in characters instead of bytes.
If the xColumn method in a virtual table implementation returns an error message using sqlite3_result_error() then give that error message preference over internally-generated messages.
Added the -A command-line option to the CLI to make it easier to manage SQLite Archive files.
Add support for INSERT OR REPLACE, INSERT OR IGNORE, and UPDATE OR REPLACE in the Zipfile virtual table.
Enhance the sqlite3changeset_apply() interface so that it is hardened against attacks from deliberately corrupted changeset objects.
Added the sqlite3_normalize() extension function.
Query optimizer enhancements:
Improve the omit-left-join optimization so that it works in cases where the right-hand table is UNIQUE but not necessarily NOT NULL.
Improve the push-down optimization so that it works for many LEFT JOINs.
Add the LEFT JOIN strength reduction optimization that converts a LEFT JOIN into an ordinary JOIN if there exist terms in the WHERE clause that would prevent the extra all-NULL row of the LEFT JOIN from appearing in the output set.
Avoid unnecessary writes to the sqlite_sequence table when an AUTOINCREMENT table is updated with an rowid that is less than the maximum.
Bug fixes:
Fix the parser to accept valid row value syntax.
Fix the query planner so that it takes into account dependencies in the arguments to table-valued functions in subexpressions in the WHERE clause.
Fix incorrect result with complex OR-connected WHERE and STAT4.
Fix potential corruption in indexes on expressions due to automatic datatype conversions.
Assertion fault in FTS4.
Incorrect result on the less-than operator in row values.
Always interpret non-zero floating-point values as TRUE, even if the integer part is zero.
Fix an issue in the fsdir(PATH) table-valued function to the fileio.c extension, that caused a segfault if the fsdir() table was used as the inner table of a join.
Issue an error rather instead of an assertion-fault or null-pointer dereference when the sqlite_master table is corrupted so that the sqlite_sequence table root page is really a btree-index page.
Fix the ANALYZE command so that it computes statistics on tables whose names begin with "sqlite".
Additional fixes for issues detected by OSSFuzz:
Fix a possible infinite loop on VACUUM for corrupt database files.
Disallow parameters in the WITH clause of triggers and views.
Fix a potential memory leak in row value processing.
Improve the performance of the replace() SQL function for cases where there are many substitutions on megabyte-sized strings, in an attempt to avoid OSSFuzz timeouts during testing.
Provide an appropriate error message when the sqlite_master table contains a CREATE TABLE AS statement. Formerly this caused either an assertion fault or null pointer dereference. Problem found by OSSFuzz on the GDAL project.
Incorrect assert() statement removed.
Fix a problem with using the LIKE optimization on an INTEGER PRIMARY KEY.

IPython 5.6
In Python 3.6 and above, dictionaries preserve the order items were added to them. On these versions, IPython will display dictionaries in their native order, rather than sorting by the keys
ProgressBar can now be used as an iterator
The shell object gains a check_complete() method, to allow a smoother transition to new input processing machinery planned for IPython 7
IPython should start faster, as it no longer looks for all available pygments styles on startup
IPython 6.3 contains all the bug fixes and features in IPython 5.6. In addition:
A new display class IPython.display.Code can be used to display syntax highlighted code in a notebook
The %%html magic now takes a --isolated option to put the content in an iframe
The code to find completions using the Jedi library has had various adjustments. This is still a work in progress, but we hope this version has fewer annoyances
The post event callbacks are now always called, even when the execution failed (for example because of a SyntaxError).
The execution info and result objects are now made available in the corresponding pre or post *_run_cell event callbacks in a backward compatible manner
Performance with very long code cells (hundreds of lines) is greatly improved
Specifications for callback functions passed in to an API
If your code lets other people supply callback functions, it's important to
specify the function signature you expect, and check that functions support
that. Adding extra parameters later would break other peoples code unless
you're careful.
backcall provides a way of specifying the callback signature using a prototype
function.
17.1:
Fix utils.canonicalize_version when supplying non PEP 440 versions.
17.0:
Drop support for python 2.6, 3.2, and 3.3.
Define minimal pyparsing version to 2.0.2.
Add epoch, release, pre, dev, and post attributes to Version and LegacyVersion.
Add Version().is_devrelease and LegacyVersion().is_devrelease to make it easy to determine if a release is a development release.
Add utils.canonicalize_version to canonicalize version strings or Version instances
Some of the more significant changes in CMake 3.11 are:
The Makefile Generators and the “Ninja” generator learned to add
compiler launcher tools along with the compiler for the “Fortran”
language (“C”, “CXX”, and “CUDA” were supported previously). See the
“CMAKE_<LANG>_COMPILER_LAUNCHER” variable and
“<LANG>_COMPILER_LAUNCHER” target property for details.
Visual Studio Generators learned to support the “COMPILE_LANGUAGE”
“generator expression” in target-wide “COMPILE_DEFINITIONS”,
“INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES”, “COMPILE_OPTIONS”, and “file(GENERATE)”. See
generator expression documentation for caveats.
The “Xcode” Generator learned to support the “COMPILE_LANGUAGE”
“generator expression” in target-wide “COMPILE_DEFINITIONS” and
“INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES”. It previously supported only
“COMPILE_OPTIONS” and “file(GENERATE)”. See generator expression
documentation for caveats.
“add_library()” and “add_executable()” commands can now be called
without any sources and will not complain as long as sources are
added later via the “target_sources()” command.
The “target_compile_definitions()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_COMPILE_DEFINITIONS” property on Imported Targets.
The “target_compile_features()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_COMPILE_FEATURES” property on Imported Targets.
The “target_compile_options()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_COMPILE_OPTIONS” property on Imported Targets.
The “target_include_directories()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES” property on Imported Targets.
The “target_sources()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_SOURCES” property on Imported Targets.
The “target_link_libraries()” command learned to set the
“INTERFACE_LINK_LIBRARIES” property on Imported Targets.
The “COMPILE_DEFINITIONS” source file property learned to support
“generator expressions”.
A “COMPILE_OPTIONS” source file property was added to manage list
of options to pass to the compiler.
When using “AUTOMOC” or “AUTOUIC”, CMake now starts multiple
parallel “moc” or “uic” processes to reduce the build time. A new
“CMAKE_AUTOGEN_PARALLEL” variable and “AUTOGEN_PARALLEL” target
property may be set to specify the number of parallel “moc” or “uic”
processes to start. The default is derived from the number of CPUs
on the host.
CVE-2017-16879
summary relnotes:
This release is designed to be source-compatible with ncurses 5.0
through 6.0; providing extensions to the application binary interface (ABI).
Although the source can still be configured to support the ncurses 5 ABI,
the intent of the release is to provide extensions to the ncurses 6 ABI:
improve integration of tput and tset
provide support for extended numeric capabilities.
The lengthy details are at http://invisible-island.net/ncurses/announce.html
Fixes build with openssl-1.1.
TODO: I did not test the default-off language options.

are better, e.g. includes a LICENSE.
- A couple of things that are only used in xt tests
used to be test requirements, now their develop
requirements.
- No longer includes explicit dependencies on a handful
of modules (e.g. indirect) that Moo's use of strictures
used to require.
- Now only includes a Makefile.PL.
- The build now includes a cpanfile in the repo.

Makefile.PL and the META.{yml,json} files.
* Fix some security bugs
Changelog:
0.26.3
This is a bugfix release. It includes the following non-exclusive list of
improvements, which have been backported from the master branch:
Fix cloning of the libgit2 project with git clone --recursive by removing an
invalid submodule from our testing data.
Fix endianness of the port in p_getaddrinfo().
Fix handling of negative gitignore rules with wildcards.
Fix handling of case-insensitive negative gitignore rules.
Fix resolving references to a tag if the reference is stored with its fully
resolved OID in the packed-refs file.
Fix checkout not treating worktree files as modified when only their mode has
changed.
Fix rename detection with GIT_DIFF_FIND_RENAMES_FROM_REWRITES.
Enable Windows 7 and earlier to use TLS 1.2.
0.26.2
This is a security release fixing memory handling issues when reading crafted
repository index files. The issues allow for possible denial of service due to
allocation of large memory and out-of-bound reads.
As the index is never transferred via the network, exploitation requires an
attacker to have access to the local repository.
0.26.1
This is a security release that includes an update to the bundled zlib
to update it to 1.2.11. Users who build the bundled zlib are vulnerable
to security issues in the prior version.
This does not affect you if you rely on a system-installed version of zlib.
All users of v0.26.0 who use the bundled zlib should upgrade to this release.
Mercurial 4.5.1 / 4.5.2 (2018-03-06)
(4.5.2 was released immediately after 4.5.1 to fix a release
oversight.)
This is a regularly-scheduled bugfix release.
1.1. Security Fixes
All versions of Mercurial prior to 4.5.2 have vulnerabilities in
the HTTP server that allow permissions bypass to:
Perform writes on repositories that should be read-only
Perform reads on repositories that shouldn't allow read access
The nature of the vulnerabilities is:
Wire protocol commands that didn't explicitly declare their
permissions had no permissions checking done. The web.{allow-pull,
allow-push, deny_read, etc} config options governing access
control were never consulted when running these commands. This
allowed permissions bypass for impacted commands.
The batch wire protocol command did not list its permission
requirements nor did it enforce permissions on individual
sub-commands.
The implication of these vulnerabilities is that no permissions
checking was performed on commands and this could lead to accessing
data that web.* config options were supposed to prevent access to
or modifying data (via wire protocol commands that can mutate data)
without authorization. A Mercurial HTTP server in its default
configuration is supposed to be read-only. However, a well-crafted
batch command could invoke commands that perform writes.
The batch write permissions bypass has been present since Mercurial
1.9. The flaw of not checking permissions for wire protocol commands
that don't declare their needed permissions has been present since
Mercurial 1.0.
Assuming you are running a server without any custom commands
provided by extensions, your exposure is unauthorized data access
(if relying on the web.* config options to limit access) and
unauthorized data mutation via the batch command.
Server operators can detect unauthorized use of the batch command
by looking for requests to URLs of the form repo?cmd=batch with
arguments containing pushkey or unbundle. This may produce false
positives. A more comprehensive check would decode the argument
string and verify that pushkey or unbundle are command names (not
values). The arguments specified via x-hgarg-<N> request headers
can span multiple headers. So advanced attackers could hide the
vulnerability by splitting a pushkey or unbundle string across
multiple headers. So the only reliable way to detect if this
vulnerability is being exploited is to decode these headers like
Mercurial does. The format for specifying arguments is documented
at
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg/file/4.5/mercurial/help/internals/wireprotocol.txt#l26.
Python code for decoding headers is at
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg/file/4.5/mercurial/hgweb/protocol.py#l70.
Mercurial 4.5.2 fixes these vulnerabilities by:
Performing permissions checking on all wire protocol commands,
not just commands that list their permissions.
Checking permissions on sub-commands issued to the batch command.
Wire protocol commands not declaring wire protocol permissions will
be assumed to be read-write commands and a server in its default
configuration (which only allows read-only access), will refuse to
execute these commands.
For package maintainers needing to backport the fixes, the relevant
changesets from 4.5.2 are 2c647da851ed::2ecb0fc535b1. These can be
viewed online at e.g.
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg/rev/2ecb0fc535b1. The author
of these commits has backports to 4.4 and 4.3 on a personal fork
at https://hg.mozilla.org/users/gszorc_mozilla.com/hg. The backports
for 4.4 are a4843835c835::7cf827e5f8af and for 4.3 are
db527ae12671::86f9a022ccb8. To obtain these changesets, run e.g.
hg pull -r 7cf827e5f8af https://hg.mozilla.org/users/gszorc_mozilla.com/hg.
1.2. Backwards Compatibility Changes
The "batch" wire protocol command now enforces permissions of
each invoked sub-command. Wire protocol commands must define
their operation type or the "batch" command will assume they
can write data and will prevent their execution on HTTP servers
unless the HTTP request method is POST, the server is configured
to allow pushes, and the (possibly authenticated) HTTP user is
authorized to perform a push.
Wire protocol commands not defining their operation type in
"wireproto.PERMISSIONS" are now assumed to be used for "push"
operations and access control to run those commands is now
enforced accordingly.
1.3. Bug Fixes
fileset: don't abort when running copied() on a revision with a removed file
date: fix parsing months
setup: only allow Python 3 from a source checkout (issue5804)
annotate: do not poorly split lines at CR (issue5798)
subrepo: don't attempt to share remote sources (issue5793)
subrepo: activate clone pooling to enable sharing with remote URLs
changegroup: do not delta lfs revisions
revlog: do not use delta for lfs revisions
revlog: resolve lfs rawtext to vanilla rawtext before applying delta
v1.17.0:
fix regression in git support - use a function to ensure it works in egg isntalled mode
actually fail if file finding fails in order to see broken setups instead of generating broken dists
v1.16.2:
fix regression in handling git export ignores
v1.16.1
fix regression in support for old setuptools versions
v1.16.0
drop support for eol python versions
fix missuse in surogate-escape api
add the node-and-timestamp local version sheme
respect git export ignores
avoid shlex.split on windows
fix#218 - better handling of mercurial edge-cases with tag commits being considered as the tagged commit
fix#223 - remove the dependency on the interal SetupttoolsVersion as it was removed after long-standing deprecation
v2.9.1
Add itervalues() and iteritems() methods to SessionManager.
Allow unicode strings passed to redirect().
Fix handling of __future__ import statements in PTL.
v2.9
There was a packaging error for 2.8. It included files not intended
to be released which broke the 'ptl' package. This release repairs
that error and includes a small change to random session tokens.
Use 128-bit random tokens for session keys and form tokens.
Our previous 64-bit values should still be more than secure
for web applications but recommended best practice is currently
128-bit. We use URL-safe base64 encoding so the length of
the tokens is only a bit longer.
Use base64 instead of hex encoding for util.randbytes()
v2.8
Don't set duplicate ID attributes on radio inputs.
ptl_import recompiles ptl files
Since stat.st_mtime is a float in linux, _load_pyc will almost always
recompile the ptl files. Here's a patch to make the logic follow
compile.c in python.
Git v2.16.3 Release Notes
* "git status" after moving a path in the working tree (hence making
it appear "removed") and then adding with the -N option (hence
making that appear "added") detected it as a rename, but did not
report the old and new pathnames correctly.
* "git commit --fixup" did not allow "-m<message>" option to be used
at the same time; allow it to annotate resulting commit with more
text.
* When resetting the working tree files recursively, the working tree
of submodules are now also reset to match.
* Fix for a commented-out code to adjust it to a rather old API change
around object ID.
* When there are too many changed paths, "git diff" showed a warning
message but in the middle of a line.
* The http tracing code, often used to debug connection issues,
learned to redact potentially sensitive information from its output
so that it can be more safely sharable.
* Crash fix for a corner case where an error codepath tried to unlock
what it did not acquire lock on.
* The split-index mode had a few corner case bugs fixed.
* Assorted fixes to "git daemon".
* Completion of "git merge -s<strategy>" (in contrib/) did not work
well in non-C locale.
* Workaround for segfault with more recent versions of SVN.
* Recently introduced leaks in fsck have been plugged.
* Travis CI integration now builds the executable in 'script' phase
to follow the established practice, rather than during
'before_script' phase. This allows the CI categorize the failures
better ('failed' is project's fault, 'errored' is build
environment's).
9.0.3:
Fix an error where the vendored requests was not correctly containing itself to only the internal vendored prefix.
Restore compatability with 2.6.
v39.0.1
Restore Unicode handling for Maintainer fields in metadata.
v39.0.0:
Setuptools now vendors its own direct dependencies, no longer relying on the dependencies as vendored by pkg_resources.
Removed long-deprecated support for iteration on Version objects as returned by pkg_resources.parse_version. Removed the SetuptoolsVersion and SetuptoolsLegacyVersion names as well. They should not have been used, but if they were, replace with Version and LegacyVersion from packaging.version.
v38.7.0:
Add support for maintainer in PKG-INFO.
This library is a goodie-bag of Unix shell and environment management tools for
automated tests. A summary of the available functions is below, look at the
source for the full listing.
Create a Python virtual environment in your test that cleans up on teardown.
The fixture has utility methods to install packages and list what's installed.
0.12.2 2016/08/10
* Better proxy support
0.12.3 2017/01/31
* XLIFF and tokens support
0.12.4 2017/02/07
* Fixes to XLIFF support
0.12.5 2017/11/02
* Support for Basic Authentication when using the client behind a proxy
* Support for sourceastranslation and onlyreviewed modes when pulling files
* Return non-zero exit codes on errors
* $ tx --version now includes information about the Python version and
architecture you're running
* Some updates and minor fixes in logging/error messages
0.13.0 2018/01/08
* Rename set command to config while maintaining backwards compatibility.
* --auto-local, --auto-remote options have become mapping and mapping-remote
subcommands. Backwards compatibility has been maintained and the options
(and subcommands) are supported both when using tx set and tx config
commands.
* Introduce mapping-bulk subcommand to tx config command. mapping-bulk is
similar to mapping but configures a whole directory of files and not a
single file.
* Support branch specific push / pull using the --branch option.
* Add interactive wizard for tx config command. Interactive wizard is
triggered by default after tx init if --skipsetup option is not passed and
by the tx config if called without any options or subcommands.
0.13.1 2018/02/09
* Fix some python 3 compatibility issues
* Fix CI for python 3
* Add Python 3.6 in the supported versions
Note: For windows executables for more python version see:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/transifex/transifex-client/build/1.0.445.

- bugfix: error message on open error was truncated
1.4.2:
Use relative imports in pkginfo modules. Supports vendoring of the package into setuptools.
Add support for Provides-Extra and Description-Content-Type fields. Per https://packaging.python.org/specifications/. See: PEP 566.
Remove support for old setuptools leaving PKG-INFO in the root of the project directory.
3.5.0:
Deprecations and Removals
record_xml_property fixture is now deprecated in favor of the more generic record_property.
Defining pytest_plugins is now deprecated in non-top-level conftest.py files, because they “leak” to the entire directory tree.
Features
New --show-capture command-line option that allows to specify how to display captured output when tests fail: no, stdout, stderr, log or all
New --rootdir command-line option to override the rules for discovering the root directory. See customize in the documentation for details.
Fixtures are now instantiated based on their scopes, with higher-scoped fixtures
record_xml_property renamed to record_property and is now compatible with xdist, markers and any reporter. record_xml_property name is now deprecated.
New --nf, --new-first options: run new tests first followed by the rest of the tests, in both cases tests are also sorted by the file modified time, with more recent files coming first.
New --last-failed-no-failures command-line option that allows to specify the behavior of the cache plugin’s `--last-failed feature when no tests failed in the last run
New --doctest-continue-on-failure command-line option to enable doctests to show multiple failures for each snippet, instead of stopping at the first failure.
Captured log messages are added to the <system-out> tag in the generated junit xml file if the junit_logging ini option is set to system-out. If the value of this ini option is system-err`, the logs are written to ``<system-err>. The default value for junit_logging is no, meaning captured logs are not written to the output file.
Allow the logging plugin to handle pytest_runtest_logstart and pytest_runtest_logfinish hooks when live logs are enabled.
Passing –log-cli-level in the command-line now automatically activates live logging.
Add command line option --deselect to allow deselection of individual tests at collection time.
Captured logs are printed before entering pdb.
Deselected item count is now shown before tests are run, e.g. collected X items / Y deselected.
The builtin module platform is now available for use in expressions in pytest.mark.
The short test summary info section now is displayed after tracebacks and warnings in the terminal.
New --verbosity flag to set verbosity level explicitly.
pytest.approx now accepts comparing a numpy array with a scalar.
Bug Fixes
Suppress IOError when closing the temporary file used for capturing streams in Python 2.7.
Fixed clear() method on caplog fixture which cleared records, but not the text property.
During test collection, when stdin is not allowed to be read, the DontReadFromStdin object still allow itself to be iterable and resolved to an iterator without crashing.
Improved Documentation
Added a reference page to the docs.
Trivial/Internal Changes
Change minimum requirement of attrs to 17.4.0.
Renamed example directories so all tests pass when ran from the base directory.
Internal mark.py module has been turned into a package.
pytest now depends on the more_itertools package.
Added warning when [pytest] section is used in a .cfg file passed with -c
nodeids can now be passed explicitly to FSCollector and Node constructors.
Internal refactoring of FormattedExcinfo to use attrs facilities and remove old support code for legacy Python versions.
Refactoring to unify how verbosity is handled internally.
Internal refactoring to better integrate with argparse.
Fix a python example when calling a fixture in doc/en/usage.rst
3.50.2:
This has no user-visible changes except one slight formatting change to one docstring, to avoid a deprecation warning.
3.50.1:
This patch fixes an internal error introduced in 3.48.0, where a check for the Django test runner would expose import-time errors in Django configuration.
3.50.0:
This release improves validation of numeric bounds for some strategies.
=== 3.17.0 / 2018-03-17
* 2 minor enhancements:
* Added task check_key to see if your signing cert is expired or not.
* Bump rdoc dependency to range from 4.x to 5.x.
* 1 bug fix:
* Fixed ridocs rake task.
- v0.7.1 Tue Mar 20 21:46:05 CDT 2018
"git tag --list" fails on some systems.
Replace "--list" with "-l" and see if that helps.
- v0.7.0 Mon Mar 19 21:34:25 CDT 2018
More test code pushed into KwikHaks.
More boilerplate.
Replaced execution of dynamic file generation with generated
MANIFEST that has all of the dynamic content in it. This
passes "make test" here on an extracted copy of the tarball.
This leaves me with a 1000+ line MANIFEST but lacking output
from the original Makfile.PL execution there is no way to
tell what is killing the make-*-dir execution on about half
of the systems.
- v0.6.1 Mon Mar 19 12:50:30 CDT 2018
One-time-hak of selecting STDERR in order to see output in failing tests
in CPAN testers.
Replaced skips with BAIL_OUT in setup for tests; remaining skip is not
finding git installed, which dodges running the git-based dynamic tests.
- v0.6.0 Sun Mar 18 22:20:49 CDT 2018
Add output to Makefile.PL, try to figure out why version directory
is not being produced.
Added boilerplate to t/bin/make-* without add'l output. Someday
these might even work...
Dir.pm uses search_bin then search_cwd to locate version & Git
dir's. Order makes more sense since Makefile.PL will be usual spot
for exection.
Push a bit more code into Util for re-use, push searches into
range of $Bin .. cwd if bin is below cwd. Avoids searching up
large paths that aren't going to have anything useful in most
cases.
- v0.5.8
Replace /bin/env with /usr/bin/env as possibly the only thing with a
more-or-less stable path across systems... Thanks to Thomas Klausner
for checking this across systems for me.
Ditto replacing #!/bin/bash with #!/usr/bin/env bash

= Railties -- Gluing the Engine to the Rails
Railties is responsible to glue all frameworks together. Overall, it:
* handles all the bootstrapping process for a Rails application;
* manager rails command line interface;
* provides Rails generators core;
This is for Ruby on Rails 5.1.
Active Job is a framework for declaring jobs and making them run on a
variety of queueing backends. These jobs can be everything from
regularly scheduled clean-ups, to billing charges, to
mailings. Anything that can be chopped up into small units of work and
run in parallel, really.
It also serves as the backend for Action Mailer's #deliver_later
functionality that makes it easy to turn any mailing into a job for
running later. That's one of the most common jobs in a modern web
application: Sending emails outside of the request-response cycle, so
the user doesn't have to wait on it.
The main point is to ensure that all Rails apps will have a job
infrastructure in place, even if it's in the form of an "immediate
runner". We can then have framework features and other gems build on
top of that, without having to worry about API differences between
Delayed Job and Resque. Picking your queuing backend becomes more of
an operational concern, then. And you'll be able to switch between
them without having to rewrite your jobs.
This is for Ruby on Rails 5.1.
Active Model provides a known set of interfaces for usage in model classes.
They allow for Action Pack helpers to interact with non-ActiveRecord models,
for example. Active Model also helps building custom ORMs for use outside of
the Rails framework.
This is for Ruby on Rails 5.1.
A toolkit of support libraries and Ruby core extensions extracted from
the Rails framework. Rich support for multibyte strings,
internationalization, time zones, and testing.
This is for Ruby on Rails 5.1.
0.28.1:
Bugs fixed
PyFrozenSet_New() was accidentally used in PyPy where it is missing from the C-API.
Assignment between some C++ templated types were incorrectly rejected when the templates mix const with ctypedef.
Undeclared C++ no-args constructors in subclasses could make the compilation fail if the base class constructor was declared without nogil.
Bytes %-formatting inferred basestring (bytes or unicode) as result type in some cases where bytes would have been safe to infer.
None was accidentally disallowed as typed return value of dict.pop().
An alternative approach to non-standard evaluation using
formulas. Provides a full implementation of LISP style
'quasiquotation', making it easier to generate code with other code.
1.07 2018-03-15
- Some improvements to the POD documentation.
- Some changes to get better test coverage.
- Better handling of empty structures (i.e [] and {}).
- v0.5.7
Looking at it... probably want to search $Bin for git artifiacts
first before checkin cwd -- normal users will want to find items
relative to location of Makefile.PL rather than t/foobar. In most
cases only one will find something, makes more sense to search in
the users' order rather than for testing.
Remmove extraneous tag from MANIFEST
- v0.5.6
Add META_MERGE into Makefile.PL for git (thanks to Jim Keenan).
Require Cwd 3.73, hopefully avoids issues with infinite loops.
Add "VERBOSE_FROMPERLVER" to set $verbose in modules, print
progress messages for debugging during install.
Remove leftover breakpoints.
Up module versions to v0.1.1.
Split re-used utils into M::FPV::Util.

* ccmake: fix status line buffer overflow on very wide terminals
- v0.5.5 Thu Mar 15 20:05:10 CDT 2018
Fix make-sandbox-dir.
Fix MANIFEST
Alwyas remove version, dynamic, sandbox/.git dir's in ./t
to force running the build code during module packaging.
Snag path search using File::Spec from FindBin::libs, doesn't
seem to be any other way to deal with Windows (or VMS).
Re-factor tests into Test::KwikHak to avoid cut+paste errors.
Add steparate step to re-extract tarball and use Makefile.PL +
make all test install prior to upload to verify MANIFEST
contents (not visible in package, other than that perhaps
the manifest is more likely to represent the necessary files).
- v0.5.3 Wed Mar 14 22:18:31 CDT 2018
Unlink all version.* tmp files.
Deal with MSW filesystem not using '/' for the root.
Missing file in MANIFEST.
- v0.5.2 Wed Mar 14 16:16:10 CDT 2018
Fix no 5.0 test to account for '5' or '5.'.
Add test 13-*.t to check full variety of versions with 'no 5',
hence the improvements in the no-5.0 check.
Fix MANIFEST.
Add strict to tests, fix undef vars.
- v0.5.1 Wed Mar 14 13:43:46 CDT 2018
Handle edge case "no 5.0.0".
Search up $Bin for version directory. Simplifies handing standard
path with test sub-dirs. "version_dir" can be path to any existing
directory or the path will be searched up $Bin to the root.
Test cleanups.
More example output in POD.
- v0.5.0 Tue Mar 13 18:24:57 CDT 2018
Working version_from handler.
Kwikhaks to generate version directory for a variety of
version formats (make-version-dir) and recover the sandbox
(make-sandbox-dir).
Generator for dynamic tests based on version dir's (make-tests).
The t/bin/make-* files are called from Makefile.PL.
- v0.4.4 Mon Mar 12 10:14:04 CDT 2018
Fix botched path in usability for extracting the
sandbox .git.
- v0.4.3 Sun Mar 11 14:08:02 CDT 2018
Added tests, shell script to generate minimal
sandbox test directory (extracted as necessary
via 0-usable.t). this needs to be re-run if
there are changes to the ./version directory.
Added shell snippets to acquire usable test list
into MANIFEST. The trick here is grabbing all of
./t other than the stub .git directory and including
the ./t/sandbox/.git.tar file.

Changelog:
NSPR 4.19 contains the following changes:
- changed order of shutdown cleanup to avoid a crash on Mac OSX
- build compatibility with Android NDK r16 and glibc 2.26
0.28:
Cdef classes can now multiply inherit from ordinary Python classes.
Type inference is now supported for Pythran compiled NumPy expressions.
The const modifier can be applied to memoryview declarations to allow read-only buffers as input.
C code in the docstring of a cdef extern block is copied verbatimly into the generated file. Patch by Jeroen Demeyer.
When compiling with gcc, the module init function is now tuned for small code size instead of whatever compile flags were provided externally. Cython now also disables some code intensive optimisations in that function to further reduce the code size.
Decorating an async coroutine with @cython.iterable_coroutine changes its type at compile time to make it iterable. While this is not strictly in line with PEP-492, it improves the interoperability with old-style coroutines that use yield from instead of await.
The IPython magic has preliminary support for JupyterLab.
The new TSS C-API in CPython 3.7 is supported and has been backported. Patch by Naotoshi Seo.
Cython knows the new Py_tss_t type defined in PEP-539 and automatically initialises variables declared with that type to Py_tss_NEEDS_INIT, a value which cannot be used outside of static assignments.
The set methods .remove() and .discard() are optimised. Patch by Antoine Pitrou.
dict.pop() is optimised. Original patch by Antoine Pitrou.
Iteration over sets and frozensets is optimised.
Safe integer loops (< range(2^30)) are automatically optimised into C loops.
alist.extend([a,b,c]) is optimised into sequential list.append() calls for short literal sequences.
Calls to builtin methods that are not specifically optimised into C-API calls now use a cache that avoids repeated lookups of the underlying C function.
Single argument function calls can avoid the argument tuple creation in some cases.
Some redundant extension type checks are avoided.
Formatting C enum values in f-strings is faster, as well as some other special cases.
String formatting with the ‘%’ operator is optimised into f-strings in simple cases.
Subscripting (item access) is faster in some cases.
Some bytearray operations have been optimised similar to bytes.
Some PEP-484/526 container type declarations are now considered for loop optimisations.
Indexing into memoryview slices with view[i][j] is now optimised into view[i, j].
Python compatible cython.* types can now be mixed with type declarations in Cython syntax.
Name lookups in the module and in classes are faster.
Python attribute lookups on extension types without instance dict are faster.
Some missing signals were added to libc/signal.pxd. Patch by Jeroen Demeyer.
The warning about repeated extern declarations is now visible by default.
The exception handling of the function types used by CPython’s type slot functions was corrected to match the de-facto standard behaviour, so that code that uses them directly benefits from automatic and correct exception propagation. Patch by Jeroen Demeyer.
Defining the macro CYTHON_NO_PYINIT_EXPORT will prevent the module init function from being exported as symbol, e.g. when linking modules statically in an embedding setup. Patch by AraHaan.
3.49.1:
This patch fixes our tests for Numpy dtype strategies on big-endian platforms, where the strategy behaved correctly but the test assumed that the native byte order was little-endian.
There is no user impact unless you are running our test suite on big-endian platforms. Thanks to Graham Inggs for reporting :issue:1164.
3.49.0:
This release deprecates passing elements=None to collection strategies, such as :func:~hypothesis.strategies.lists.
Requiring lists(nothing()) or builds(list) instead of lists() means slightly more typing, but also improves the consistency and discoverability of our API - as well as showing how to compose or construct strategies in ways that still work in more complex situations.
Passing a nonzero max_size to a collection strategy where the elements strategy contains no values is now deprecated, and will be an error in a future version. The equivalent with elements=None is already an error.

Note about Rubinius support
We have been unable to get a Rubinius build working for CI for quite some
time, meaning that Rubinius support has been spotty or non-existent. In this
release we finally stopped trying. This isn't directly backwards-incompatible
since it already wasn't working, but it does feel a bit iffy.
If you happen to use Rubinius and know how to get this working on Travis, we'd
be delighted to review a pull request that adds it back in.CVS: ----------------------------------------------------------------------

It seems that the rules for pattern matching have changed at some point,
which is what is breaking these builds (or more exactly, their PLISTs).
Now, foo/... does not match anything under foo/vendor AFAICT, and packages
that do not match the pattern do not get .a files explicitly created.
A suite of tools designed to build attractive command line interfaces
(CLIs). Includes tools for drawing rules, boxes, trees, and Unicode
symbols with ASCII alternatives.
