Bz2file is a Python library for reading and writing bzip2-compressed files. It
contains a drop-in replacement for the file interface in the standard library's
bz2 module, including features from the latest development version of CPython
that are not available in older releases.
atool is a script for managing file archives of various types (tar,
tar+gzip, zip, etc.). It provides the following commands:
* aunpack: extract an archive, avoiding tar bombs
* apack: create archives or compressed files
* als: list the contents of an archive
* acat: extract to the standard output
* adiff: generate a diff between two archives
* arepack: repack archives to a different format
Optional dependencies: lbzip2 or pbzip2, lzip, plzip, lzop, lzma, zip,
unzip, unrar, lha, unace, arj, arc, nomarch, p7zip, unalz.
Brotli is a generic-purpose lossless compression algorithm that compresses data
using a combination of a modern variant of the LZ77 algorithm, Huffman coding
and 2nd order context modeling, with a compression ratio comparable to the best
currently available general-purpose compression methods. It is similar in speed
with deflate but offers more dense compression.
This is a very large change, and incorporates the 4.8, 4.10, and 4.12 major
Xfce releases since 4.6.2, our previous pkgsrc release. For more information
