30d157bfec math/lapack: Restore build on DragonFly
Linking lapack with the gold linker fails with this error:
fatal error: --sysroot=: must take a non-empty argument

DragonFly has been using the gold linker by default for a while now.
Since I don't have time to track down this linking problem, I'm going
to restore the build on DragonFly by setting an environment variable
that forces DF to use the classic GNU linker instead.

This was already fixed on math/blas which uses the lapack common
makefile, so just relocate the fix to lapack.

5e3ff27937 math/blas: Restore build on DragonFly
Linking blas with the gold linker fails with this error:
fatal error: --sysroot=: must take a non-empty argument

DragonFly has been using the gold linker by default for a while now.
Since I don't have time to track down this linking problem, I'm going
to restore the build on DragonFly by setting an environment variable
that forces DF to use the classic GNU linker instead.

At this point in time, I don't know if BLAS is unique or if LAPACK
and others need the same workaround. If the latter, this variable
may need to be moved to the common LAPACK makefile.

56af0fb587 Changes 3.5.0:
* added Symmetric/Hermitian LDLT factorization routines with rook pivoting algorithm
* 2-by-1 CSD to be used for tall and skinny matrix with orthonormal columns (in LAPCK 3.4.0, we already integrated CSD of a full square orthogonal matrix)
* New stopping criteria for balancing.

2d1ba244e9 Simply and speed up buildlink3.mk files and processing.
This changes the buildlink3.mk files to use an include guard for the
recursive include. The use of BUILDLINK_DEPTH, BUILDLINK_DEPENDS,
BUILDLINK_PACKAGES and BUILDLINK_ORDER is handled by a single new
variable BUILDLINK_TREE. Each buildlink3.mk file adds a pair of
enter/exit marker, which can be used to reconstruct the tree and
to determine first level includes. Avoiding := for large variables
(BUILDLINK_ORDER) speeds up parse time as += has linear complexity.
The include guard reduces system time by avoiding reading files over and
over again. For complex packages this reduces both %user and %sys time to
half of the former time.

dfad6be3e9 Update math/blas to version 1.1. Changes from version 1.0 include:
- The addition of several new routines for complex number operations.

- Minor changes in the function implementations to use the new
  operations.

+ Support user-destdir installation.

+ Move Makefile for building the BLAS library from patch-aa into
files/Makefile.blas. It's simpler to edit this file than to create
  new patches.

c16221a4db Change the format of BUILDLINK_ORDER to contain depth information as well,
and add a new helper target and script, "show-buildlink3", that outputs
a listing of the buildlink3.mk files included as well as the depth at
which they are included.

For example, "make show-buildlink3" in fonts/Xft2 displays:

	zlib
	fontconfig
	    iconv
	    zlib
	    freetype2
	    expat
	freetype2
	Xrender
	    renderproto

5abef9be14 Over 1200 files touched but no revisions bumped :)
RECOMMENDED is removed. It becomes ABI_DEPENDS.

BUILDLINK_RECOMMENDED.foo becomes BUILDLINK_ABI_DEPENDS.foo.

BUILDLINK_DEPENDS.foo becomes BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.foo.

BUILDLINK_DEPENDS does not change.

IGNORE_RECOMMENDED (which defaulted to "no") becomes USE_ABI_DEPENDS
which defaults to "yes".

Added to obsolete.mk checking for IGNORE_RECOMMENDED.

I did not manually go through and fix any aesthetic tab/spacing issues.

I have tested the above patch on DragonFly building and packaging
subversion and pkglint and their many dependencies.

I have also tested USE_ABI_DEPENDS=no on my NetBSD workstation (where I
have used IGNORE_RECOMMENDED for a long time). I have been an active user
of IGNORE_RECOMMENDED since it was available.

As suggested, I removed the documentation sentences suggesting bumping for
"security" issues.

As discussed on tech-pkg.

I will commit to revbump, pkglint, pkg_install, createbuildlink separately.

Note that if you use wip, it will fail! I will commit to pkgsrc-wip
later (within day).

b6b853727d Nuke USE_FORTRAN and bring the f2c handling within the mk/compiler
framework. The list of changes include:

  * Modify compiler.mk so that "c" is always prepended to USE_LANGUAGES,
so we no longer need to say it in package Makefiles. Packages
should now append to USE_LANGUAGES instead of setting it.

  * Create mk/compiler/f2c.mk which implements another pseudo-compiler
"f2c" that may be used with any C compiler backend, e.g.

	PKGSRC_COMPILER= f2c ccache gcc

  * Teach the various "real" compiler files, e.g., sunpro.mk, mipspro.mk,
etc., to use f2c if the native Fortran compiler isn't present.

Packages that use Fortran should now simply include the line:

	USE_LANGUAGES+=	fortran

in the package Makefile.

1a280185e1 Mechanical changes to package PLISTs to make use of LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST.
All library names listed by *.la files no longer need to be listed
in the PLIST, e.g., instead of:

	lib/libfoo.a
	lib/libfoo.la
	lib/libfoo.so
	lib/libfoo.so.0
	lib/libfoo.so.0.1

one simply needs:

	lib/libfoo.la

and bsd.pkg.mk will automatically ensure that the additional library
names are listed in the installed package +CONTENTS file.

Also make LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST default to "yes".
