e5d77bae83 Remove USE_TOOLS+=gawk from packages that had it added solely for Solaris. 
We rely on the tools framework to pull in a good enough awk tool.

43ac8c39e1 Replace USE_GCC_SHLIB with "USE_LANGUAGE=c c++" (the latter implies the 
former) for applications that are known to require C++.

c487cb967a Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10 
in the process.  (More information on tech-pkg.)

Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and
installing .la files.

Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above
via a buildlink3 include.

1a280185e1 Mechanical changes to package PLISTs to make use of LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST. 
All library names listed by *.la files no longer need to be listed
in the PLIST, e.g., instead of:

	lib/libfoo.a
	lib/libfoo.la
	lib/libfoo.so
	lib/libfoo.so.0
	lib/libfoo.so.0.1

one simply needs:

	lib/libfoo.la

and bsd.pkg.mk will automatically ensure that the additional library
names are listed in the installed package +CONTENTS file.

Also make LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST default to "yes".

b84477d269 plotutils uses a c and c++ compiler. 
XXX these packages need to be made to use a common Makefile fragment.

3adfbe7358 Demand GNU awk on IRIX. According to pkgsrc/mk/tools.mk IRIX has no 
usable native awk. This should fix PR pkg/25027.

06a53babe4 Share distinfo and patches directory with plotutils, to let this build 
with gcc3 too.

Pointed out by Kouichirou Hiratsuka; this is related to PR pkg/22443.

b035659872 Split plotutils and gnuplot into '<pkgname>' and '<pkgname>-nox11' each 
(alternatively, we could have renamed one to '<pkgname>-x11', but for the
element of least surprise, the default remains x11 enabled).
This will work much better than the previous attempt to build two packages
from one Makefile, which wasn't all thought out wrt to dependencies, buildlinks etc.
Bump PKGREVISION on plotutils and gnuplot for this.
