- dropped support for Python 3.4 (which has reached end-of-life status). Supported Python versions are now 2.7, and 3.5 or newer.

- URIs now allow spaces in the location part. Useful for unix domain sockets.

pkgsrc is a framework for building software on UNIX-like systems.
To use, bootstrap using:
cd pkgsrc/bootstrap/
./bootstrap
build packages, use:
cd pkgsrc/category/package-name
$PREFIX/bin/bmake install
Where $PREFIX is where you've chosen to install packages (typically /usr/pkg)
