the pkgsrc guide now comments that MESSAGE should not be used for: "anything that should be explained in the installation/configuration documentation that should come with the package" xmlcatmgr is commonly installed as a dependency and the MESSAGE file simply explains what is essentially unix/pkgsrc conventions (share/ is where the static data is, etc/ is where the user-specified data is), so this is mostly line noise. |
