# scanners
to scan my hand-written journal, i need a fast duplex scanner
my journal has thousands of pages, so a flatbed scanner wont help, and i need a machine for "high-volume scanning"

## currently i have
- Canon Lide 100
- https://geizhals.de/canon-canoscan-lide-100-2923b010-a360897.html
- flatbed scanner
- useless for scanning hundreds of pages
- may be useful for scanning "special pages": broken pages, dirty pages, stapled pages, ...
- Brother DCP-L2550DN
- https://geizhals.de/brother-dcp-l2550dn-dcpl2550dng1-a1740474.html
- multi function printer with a simplex ADF + flatbed scanner
- better than a flatbed scanner, but without DADF, its too much work to manually reconstruct front and back sides of all pages
- its an acceptable low-budget multi function printer (MFP), but a bad choice for high-volume scanning
- Brother ADS-3000N
- https://geizhals.de/brother-imagecenter-ads-3000n-ads3000nux1-a1375507.html
- single pass duplex DADF scanner
- awesome : )
