+  on linux all you have to do is the following:

+  Arch Linux: sudo pacman -Sy ffmpeg
+  Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt-get install ffmpeg

+  But windows 10/11 is a little more complicated

+  first you'll need to visit the following site:

+  then click on the windows logo and two choices will appear:
+  Windows builds from gyan.dev

+  I clicked on gyan.dev and downloaded ffmpeg-git-full.7z

+  Open it and make a folder in your C drive or any other drive you'd like
+  named ffmpeg.

+  drag all of the files in ffmpeg-git-full.7z into that folder

+  hit the Windows start button and type "Environment"
+  Click on "Edit the system environment variables"
