This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for the position of "|ENTRY LEVEL| Business Analyst |RECENT GRADUATES|", as found on www.indeed.com.
I am currently going through a career change. After receiving my Masters Degree in Mathematics, I worked mostly in the educational field as a University Professor and College Instructor. Teaching is not much of an intellectual challenge once you get the lesson plans worked out. I have been working toward a career shift for the last few years, and am mostly interested in anything related to cybersecurity, data science, and/or blockchain technologies. The COVID-19 situation radically changed the working environment, and all of the reasons that I enjoyed being a full-time College Mathematics Instructor completely vanished. I took that as a sign that I needed to get serious about the career change. I decided to sign up for the Data Science Professional Certification program through HarvardX, paying completely out of pocket. I was about 2/3 of the way thorough the program when a hostile working environment inspired me to resign from teaching and focus on my coursework full time. I completed the certification in November of 2021, and fell in love with the field in the process. This is just the intellectual challenge I have been looking for! Now I just need to find the right employer to work with. When I came across the listing for "|ENTRY LEVEL| Business Analyst |RECENT GRADUATES|", I applied immediately because I seem to be qualified and is exactly the sort of opportunity I am seeking.
I look forward to arranging an interview if possible. I live in Northern New Mexico, so a remote interview of some kind would be preferred. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for one of the ``Cannabis Retail Positions", as found on www.indeed.com.
I am a very hard working, organized, detail oriented and creative problem solver. After receiving my Masters Degree in Mathematics, I worked mostly in the educational field as a University Professor and College Instructor. I have been excited about the cannabis industry in New Mexico for many years and would like to be a part of it in some way. I have been working toward a career shift for the last few years in response to fundamental changes that all academic institutions are undergoing. I retired from teaching last year but have kept my private tutoring clients. I have been looking for a position in an industry that I can grow with. I applied immediately because I believe that the cannabis industry will continue to thrive and make the world a better place, especially if it is staffed with committed professionals. I am a math/computer/data enthusiast with a strong desire to participate in successful projects and see them to the end. I have a lot of varied experience from ``summer jobs" that do not fit on my résumé, including home construction, solar panel installation, café management and many other things under independent contract.
I look forward to arranging an interview. I reside in both Albuquerque and Northern New Mexico while I build my dream off-grid home near Las Vegas. There is no time like the present to do what you have always wanted. I am available to start immediately. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for one of the ``Cannabis Trimmer", as found on www.indeed.com.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for the position of "Jr. Data Analyst", as found on www.indeed.com.
When I came across the listing for "Jr. Data Analyst", I applied immediately because I seem to be qualified and is exactly the sort of opportunity I am seeking.
I look forward to arranging an interview if possible. I live in Northern New Mexico, so a remote interview of some kind would be preferred. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for one of the ``Budtender Retail Personal Service Provider", as found on www.indeed.com.
I have been planning to relocate to Las Vegas full time, pending employment. I am available to start immediately. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for the position of ``Product Specialist/Sales - Eubank", as found on www.indeed.com.
I am currently going through a career change. After receiving my Masters Degree in Mathematics, I worked mostly in the educational field as a University Professor and College Instructor. I have been working toward a career shift for the last few years in response to fundamental changes all academic institutions are undergoing nationwide. I am sort of an old-school teacher that would rather teach my students HOW to think than WHAT to think, and it was becoming harder and harder to adhere to my morals and be a college instructor at the same time. I retired from teaching last year and have been looking for a new career to start. When I came across the listing for ``Product Specialist/Sales - Eubank", I applied immediately because I am excited about the cannabis industry in New Mexico and would like to be a part of it in some way. I have been a medical cannabis patient for five years, so I am very familiar with the dispensary culture and how it works, in general.
I look forward to arranging an interview if possible. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.
\closing{Sincerely,}

I have been planning to relocate to Las Vegas full time, pending employment. I am available to start immediately. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.

This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for the position of ``Data Scientist", as found on \url{https://cryptocurrencyjobs.co/}.
In response to fundamental changes all academic institutions are undergoing nationwide, I decided to sign up for the Data Science Professional Certification program through HarvardX, paying completely out of pocket. I was about 2/3 of the way thorough the program when life changes inspired me to resign from teaching and focus on my coursework full time. I completed the certification in November of 2021, and fell in love with the field in the process. This is just the intellectual challenge I have been looking for! Now I just need to find the right employer to work with. When I came across the listing for ``Data Scientist", I applied immediately because I seem to be qualified and is exactly the sort of opportunity I am seeking. In the mean time, I have been reading \emph{Data Science for Business} by Provost and Fawcett, which I am finding to be a good follow-up to the certification work.
I look forward to arranging an interview if possible. I live in Northern New Mexico, so a remote interview of some kind would be preferred. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.
\closing{Sincerely yours,}

\opening{To Whom It May Concern,}
This letter serves as my cover letter in applying for the position of ``Temporary IB Mathematics Instructor", as found on www.indeed.com.
After receiving my Masters Degree in Mathematics, I have worked mostly in the educational field as a University Professor and College Instructor. I worked professionally as a tutor for many years before completing my education, and have been privately tutoring select clients for the past 20 years. I became certified in Online Learning and Teaching from my former employer back when life seemed more normal. The COVID-19 situation radically changed the working environment, and all of the reasons that I enjoyed being a full-time College Mathematics Instructor were starting to disappear. I decided to sign up for the Data Science Professional Certification program through HarvardX, just to expand my credentials and to demonstrate my technical abilities as a programmer. I was about 2/3 of the way thorough the program when personal events inspired me to move out of Albuquerque and relocate to Las Vegas, NM. I completed the certification in November of 2021, and am currently looking for work while I build my dream off-grid home near Las Vegas. There is no time like the present to do what you have always wanted. I currently have one regular weekly online tutoring appointment with a retired database programmer where we are studying Abstract Algebra and Group Theory at his pace since he is not enrolled in any courses.
I look forward to arranging an interview if possible. Thank you for taking the time to look over my credentials and consider my candidacy.
\closing{Sincerely,}

\opening{To Whom It May Concern,}
\closing{Sincerely,}
