====================================
I probably sent you here because you used the "The reason ... is because ..."
sentence. Here is why it's wrong and how it's right:
REASONING
=========
"Because" answers are given to "why" questions:
Q: "Why are you crying?"
A: "Because I am sad."
Q: "Why aren't you working?"
A: "Because I am lazy."
To "what is" questions we give "it is" answers:
Q: "What is that sound?"
A: "That sound is just some noise."
Q: "You're not working. What is the reason?"
A: "The reason is my laziness."
or
"The reason is that I am lazy."
The last sentence shows the correct form of the sentence that starts with
"The reason is".
SO HOW TO SAY IT PROPERLY?
