aabab4cf4d Add chgrep. 
Chgrep searches the input files (or standard input if no files are named)
for oldstring and changes them to new string. If some file and file.lock
exist then chgrep leaves both files unchanged. This program can be very use-
full for mail servers. Chgrep is fast, much faster than grep or sed.

c6b1eba40f The GNOME On-Screen Keyboard (GOK) is an accessability interface 
that gives you control of your system without needing a keyboard.
The GOK makes available a hierarchical button system that enables
keyboardless entry of common accelerators, and contains a
clickable keyboard that sports suggested autocompletion of many
common words, and even some commands. The GOK will provide an
alternative interface to common commands and functions within
applications that utilize the AT SPI.

The GOK is is designed to be usable by many alternative input
methods, i.e. not a common keyboard and mouse combination.

Acidlaunch is a small, light-weight dockable app launcher with a simple
XML-based configuration syntax. It's great as a small, simple app launcher, and

5f43e6f0c6 New port: wmmemfree 
WMMemFree shows system memory usage.  It runs as a dockapp for window
manager like WindowMaker or some other which supports dockapps.  On
the top side you have your physical memory usage and on the bottom there
is your swap space usage.

abb12c24aa New port: kdirstat - A small KDE utility that sums up disk usage for direcory trees 
KDirStat (for KDE Directory Statistics) is a small utility
	program that sums up disk usage for direcory trees. Its
	functionality is similar to the Unix du command, but it
	provides more helpful diagnostic information. KDirStat also
	features some built-in cleanup facilities and the ability
	to include your own cleanup commands or scripts.

Dump9660 is a tool for creating ISO 9660 compliant CD images

772906abd2 From the submitter: 
Sun format is a util for formatting/partitioning/analysis/repairing of SCSI
disks. While formatting and partitioning currently is only usefule on big-
endian systems in order to create Sun disk labels, analysis and repairing
works on either endian and are very useful to remap defect blocks when
AWRE/ARRE fail for some reason. Tested on i386 and sparc64, respawned a
disk here.

helping debug USB device(driver).

maho@ is gathering reports from users to compile a FreeBSD-ready
USB device list.  udesc_dump is exceptionally useful for that
purpose and should be made handily available.

e97feb9a30 o New port pkill version 0.1: NetBSD's pgrep and pkill: find or 
signal processes matching criteria
o Based on current NetBSD's pgrep(1) and pkill(1) with the following
  differences:
	1) -STABLE version does not support filtering by session
	   ID since this information is only available in kernel
	   space. -CURRENT supports this.
	2) Added -M and -N flags following ps(1). Therefore, drop
	   additional privileges (drop_privs) if any of those flags
	   are defined.
	3) kvm access without sgid
o Items (2) and (3) are based on jmallett code sent to me for
  inspiration. :) Great thanks to jmallett for that.

8ee4b693b9 Add sysutils/libchk: 
libchk is a tool to help users obtain the following information:

  - A list of executables that have unresolvable shared library links

  - A list of shared libraries that are not referenced by any binary

  - A list of binaries for each shared library that are linked with
    the library

This will help to get a hint as to if you can safely remove shared
libraries that look obsolete.

d1c2f0dddd Please welcome Qt3/KDE3 to our ports tree. This includes work since the 
original versions of these ports, so some PORTREVISIONs were bumped.  See
http://freebsd.kde.org/ and mailing lists linked to from there for info
on the packages generated to test these ports.

bsd.kde.mk has already been updated a few days ago to work with these.

Some patches applied to fix a few bugs were:

deskutils/kdepim3:
        [1] Remove kpilot from build because it wasn't ready at release.
editors/koffice-kde3:
        [2] Fix compile time bugs for FreeBSD.
misc/kdeedu3:
        [3] Fix compile problem with kvoctrain.
x11/kdebase3:
        [4] Fix KDM CPU usage and login bug.

Some caveats:
        * All PLISTs are broken for deinstall due to script bug that I
          didn't notice until very recently.  This will be fixed when I
          commit an update tomorrow.  These ports should still install
          perfectly fine though.  They should also deinstall without
          giving errors, but will leave directories behind.
        * You can't install this with any other version of QT or KDE
          already installed.  I am not sure the checks are 100% working,
          but fixes for these will be forthcoming.  This is mainly due
          to a policy decision made by kde@ to make QT/KDE ports install
          the way the rest of the world expects it to while also still
          conforming to FreeBSD's hier(7).  For reference on this decision,
          please consult the KDE/FreeBSD mailing list archives.  This
          decision fixes 2-year-old bug reports relating to how we handled
          this for KDE2 vs KDE1.

penv - 'program environment' or 'ports environment' - is a simple
utility that executes a given command after setting some environment
variables corresponding to the current directory.  This makes it
much easier to keep persistent environment settings for building
the same ports over and over again.

For example, the following series of commands:

$ echo cp1251 > /var/db/penv/databases/mysql323-server/WITH_CHARSET
$ echo all > /var/db/penv/databases/mysql323-server/WITH_XCHARSET

..allows a simple way to build the MySQL-3.23 server with the same
character set configuration every time by doing:

[root@ringworld:/usr/ports/databases/mysql323-server]# penv make

For more information, see the penv.1 manual page and the sample
configuration file in the penv distribution.

cbfe7948ca Add e2fsprogs 1.22, a set of utilities and library to manipulate an ext2 
filesystem.

WARNING: The sole reason why I'm adding this port is to allow me upgrade
	 gnomeutils port to the latest version. For some very strange reason
	 this new version requires libext2fs to build. The only thing I know
	 for sure about e2fsprogs is that it compiles cleanly on 4-STABLE and
	 5-CURRENT systems - I have not tested it in action. Please use it
	 with extremal precaution, because due to its low-level nature and
	 Linux roots it can do Very Bad Things[tm] to your data, set fire
	 on your house, kill your cat or something else even more horrible. If
	 someone wants to take over maintainership please feel free to do so.

after a given time with a given signal.  A 'warning' signal
is sent first, then, after a timeout, a 'kill' signal, similar
to the way init(8) operates on shutdown.

3556489659 Stat::lsMode generates mode and permission strings that look like 
the ones generated by the Unix ls -l command.  For example, a
regular file that is readable by everyone and writable only by its
owner has the mode string -rw-r--r--.  Stat::lsMode will either
examine the file and produce the right mode string for you, or you
can pass it the mode that you get back from Perl's stat call.

d1bf99f0d9 The samefile program finds files with identical contents (independent of 
file name). Typical usage would be

        find / -print | samefile

turning up megabytes of wasted disk space due to duplicates. Try it,
you'll be baffled.

230a5071f6 Add portupgrade, a tool to upgrade installed packages with ports. 
It upgrades ports without reinstalling dependent packages by directly
modifying the package info recorded in the files under /var/db/pkg.

e.g.
	portupgrade gtk
	portupgrade -cC gnome\*

It currently has many design flaws (to me at least) but I am releasing
this because it's functionally stable enough to use. (I believe.. ;)

Use with care, at your own risk.
