Alias is a new USES tool that allows DragonFly to masquerade as FreeBSD
by setting CFLAGS+= -D__FreeBSD__. For some ports, this fixes the build
without the need for additional patches.

It is not entirely clear to me what the policy is to decide whether a
license can be auto-accepted, but for now this makes it possible to build
the port without supervision (eg. with BATCH=1).
- Compression ratio of option -9 has been slightly increased.
- Compression time has been reduced by 4%, by 2% for option -0.
- The behavior is now like 'cp -p'.
- The license changed to GPL version 2 or later.
- Patch libtool so it uses the same library version specification as on
Darwin, Linux and other systems. Given the version current:revision:age
a library will be given the extension .so.major.age.revision with major
equal to current-age. Before libtool would use .so.current on FreeBSD.
- Patch libtoolize to remove two cases of umask 0 that caused libltdl
files to be copied world writable (--ltdl option)
- Let USES=libtool patch this new version correctly
- Adjust all ports with USES=libtool:build and bump PORTREVISION on their
dependent ports if a library version changed

The Fedora 10 infrastructure ports have been in use since June 2009 and, while
having served a great deed, have become unsupported upstream and hence affected
by unfixed security vulnerabilities. In addition to that, many recent Linux
binaries need newer libc / stdlibc++ versions.
This commit adds the linux-c6- userland as drop-in replacement for the -f10
infrastructure, as well as upgrading the linux_base-c6 port to CentOS 6.5.
If you want to switch to linux-c6 ports, please define at /etc/make.conf:
OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=c6
OVERRIDE_LINUX_NONBASE_PORTS=c6
Additionally, please add the following line to /etc/sysctl.conf:
compat.linux.osrelease=2.6.18
Upgrading procedures are shown in /usr/ports/UPDATING.
This work has been inspired by Artyom Mirgorodskiy's post to emulation@ in
November 2013, using and extending mav@'s work. It has been tested extensively

The upgrade from version 4.11.2 => 4.11.3 required several lines in the
pkg-plist to be changed, but the file wasn't modified. "Just fix it" now.
BTW, the pkg-plist needs badly to be alphabetized, but I didn't do this.
Remove patches and hacks that were used to work around the previous
situation

rubyforge.org shutdown on May 15, 2014. This commit accounts for that by doing
several things:
- Deprecate ruby that had only rubyforge.org as MASTER_SITES (and so are now
only fetchable via our cache)
- Deprecate ports that depend on those
- Update the WWW pkg-descr line that points to rubyforge.org for rubygem ports
(which are still fetchable from rubygems.org)
The next step will be to remove rubyforge.org from bsd.sites.mk, after these
deprecated ports are deleted.

GCC 4.2 in FreeBSD 8.X/9.X base is now too old to compile OpenEXR, so
GCC-based systems will upgrade to the default ports compiler (GCC 4.7
currently.)
Add two patches to OpenEXR to permit building it in a live system with
the older OpenEXR version installed. Bug report filed to upstream Github
at https://github.com/openexr/openexr/issues/130
Couple OpenEXR more tightly to ilmbase and require its exact .so
version.
Add UPDATING note, and bump PORTREVISION of all dependent ports.
Proto-STAGE hugin-devel, and mark it IGNORE because hugin is newer.

It is practically impossible to use any of the unzip slave ports. This
is because archivers/unzip is used by the ports infrastruction (via
USES=zip, USES=zip:infozip) and each slave port conflicts with it.
If you install the slave port first, then the port infrastructure can't
install archivers/unzip (although if attempted, the extracts dependency
might be satisfied by the slave port so it might actually work).
In any case, this change:
* Adds "iconv" support as an non-default option
* Add a localization group that can have zero or one selection
* That group contains Chinese, Korean, or Russian support
* WITH_UNZIP_UNREDUCE support was removed (I'm not sure it even worked)
* Makefile was simplified (several loops removed)
* Removes unzip-iconv, Chinese, Korean, Russian slave ports

when an older version of a package is installed. This is the case when an
executable links with installed libraries and with uninstalled libraries
that link with other uninstalled libraries. For each of the directly
linked libraries the executable will have an rpath (/usr/local/lib for the
installed libraries and a path under WRKDIR for each of the uninstalled
libraries), but not for the indirect libraries. Both ld(1) and rtld(1)
search the rpath of the executable first before any rpath of libraries, so
the indirectly linked libraries will be found in /usr/local/lib if they are
installed instead of in WRKDIR.
With this commit executables will overlink with uninstalled indirect
libraries again so their location is added to the rpath of the executable.
This partially reverts r358784.

The configure error "Not configured with libgsf or libole2 but that's
needed for MSI support" is caused by using the wrong configure option
of MSI that was introduced in last commit.
Changing to MSI_CONFIGURE_ENABLE=libgsf to MSI_CONFIGURE_WITH=libgsf
should have solved the problem, but unfortunately there is a logic
flaw in the configure script. If --without-libgsf is passed to it,
it mistakenly tries to find it anyway with pkgconfig and then fails.
The way to fix this properly is to patch the configure script, but I am
going to cheat by making libgsf an unconditional requirement as it was
before adamw fixed the options reversal.
Where possible, correct a few instances where PORTDOCS was being used
to flag stuff in EXAMPLESDIR. For some ports, mostly those owned by
ruby@, PORTDOCS is applied to pretty much everything whether it's
documentation or example.
Relevant upstream changes are, taken from the NEWS file:
* Updated the Autoconf scripts to fix some reported build problems.
* Fixed lzo_init() on big-endian architectures like Sparc.

- Avoid changing the same file both via the patch and with sed(1)
- Now that with staging PLIST_FILES become long again, resurrect pkg-plist
- Improve COMMENT, port description, sort the knobs, and cleanup the port
changes that Debian made to their libtool. The first command applies to
libtool versions 1.4 and up. The second command is somewhat more elaborate
but essentially it uses the sed hold space to move an "elif...fi" block
down. It applies to 2.x. Together these reduce overlinking to unpatched
.la files (from ports that don't have USES=libtool yet but also .la files
in the work directory).
The third and fourth command fix relinking. During staging libtool may
relink libA when it links to another library in the work directory libB.
The reason is that libA created during build phase has its runpath set to
the location of libB in the work directory. This allows running an
executable that links to libA from within the work directory. The relink
removes this extra runpath.
When libtool relinks libA it replaces "libB.la" on the linker command line
with "-L${STAGEDIR}${PREFIX}/lib -lB" with the intention to link to libB in
the stage directory but this -L flag isn't necessarily the first so another
libB may be linked instead. The two sed commands make relink the same as a
normal link. This means libtool will relink with libraries from the work
directory using a path similar to "../srcB/.libs/libB.so" without -L flags.
This applies to libtool 1.4 and up. Earlier versions don't seem to relink
libraries.
(This fixes ports like devel/apr1 so they link with freshly built libraries
instead of installed libraries.)
Fix all ports with missing libraries.
Additionally:
archivers/rpm4: USES=patchfix.
databases/gdbm: INSTALL_TARGET=install-strip.
devel/gnome-vfs: remove patch that doesn't change anything.
devel/ois: INSTALL_TARGET=install-strip and use standard USE_AUTOTOOLS.
devel/zziplib: INSTALL_TARGET=install-strip, MAKE_CMD.
multimedia/mjpegtools: remove USE_AUTOTOOLS, use modern compiler on i386
instead of disabling optimisations.
net/libnetdude: disable static plugins.
